Harris Teeter

My BF in the whole wide world works there. The nicest staff and a great environment. Food is fresh. The store is well kept. As my BF sings..."My Harris Teeter"...mine too when I am in town.

Update: It looks like somebody listened to my review. Produce has been fantastic and fresh for weeks now. Love the place overall. Good deals even on organic stuff all the time as well.

I just can't stand the produce here.

The workers are friendly and helpful and the hours are great but, oh boy, is the produce bad. Oftentimes they'll have salad or carrots sitting there that expire in a day or two. Even brand new lettuce/mixed-greens that don't expire for over a week will have rotting leaves inside (not sure if it's a shipping problem or a problem with in-store storage). I used to get the exact same brands back in Chicago from my local grocery store and expired mixed greens would stay fresh longer than brand new ones from this location. The celery is bad too and other perishables are also a toss-up whether they're near expiration or not.

The food was great. Good deals. Good value. The chicken was really small so the clerk compensated which was the right thing to do because i would have just left it. The clerk had sense without me saying or asking. Thank you.

Visiting from out of state, so first time in a Harris Teeter store. Was pleasantly surprised with the large selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. The deli section had some great sandwiches. Overall, a great experience

Great store. Well laid out with plenty of parking. Wide variety of items. Wine selection is outstanding.
The butcher always has a very nice spread with plenty of options and they will accommodate you.
Produce section is well stocked and everything is fresh and clean.
All of the departments are very well kept, clean, well stocked and they usually have excellent specials each week for the bargain shoppers.

Overall one of the best grocery stores and shopping experiences in town with friendly helpful staff and always meeting or exceeding expectations!

I just want say THANK YOU to whom ever found my wallet this weekend and returned it to the office. Great trustworthy staff who truly CARES. Philip, I really appreciate your help. Great employees! And of course and awesome grocery store!

Dropped my credit card here, and didn't realize it. The store manager contacted me to let me know. Really appreciate it. Love the deli, and that it's directly in the Long Grove neighborhood to get all the things you last minute things you need. Neighborhood place.

I am a delivery driver for a French Cafe which is across the road from this store, I absolutely recommend the Subs from here. They blow all the famous sub shops out the water as far as price, content and taste. Bores Head meats at that! The subs I get would cost $10.00 at a major chain, for $3.99 and specials for a whole sub @ $5.99 I challenge anyone to eat the large or full sub.!!

The store was clean and parking was easy.

I appreciated that they gave non-locals the discounted prices without a store card.

We were happy to find hats too since we forgot ours. They seems to have a good selection of everything.

Soda and sparkling water selections were solid.

They have ice which was fairly priced.

I’d go again.

Great produce section, always fresh!

I'm giving them 5 stars b/c I think they fulfill their purpose just fine. I will say that this grocery store is lacking quite a bit in terms of selection etc. It's a small spot that does a decent job at checking most of the boxes though and I appreciate having them there. The people are nice and it's mostly fine.

I would like to say how blessed we all are as customers to have Janice as our pharmacist! She goes above and beyond for everyone I know. Thank you Harris Teeter pharmacy for having someone as pleasant and knowledgeable as she is! Love

Thank you to the bakery for making the perfect cake for my daughters 1st Birthday. They made it even more beautiful than the picture I brought. I had a few people comment on it and ask who made it.

Love this Harris Teeter!! So much more efficient and friendly than the 6mile teeter. Everyone here is soooo eager to help you find anything. This has happened multiple times too. So happy to have this teeter 1 mile from my house. I will never go back to 6mile teeter.

Amazing prices at the pharmacy. There's an automatic card the pharmacy applies to your prescription(s) for the uninsured... called 'Blink'. I fill my pugs prescription there for a lot less. Thank you HT

I got to tell you, people usually whine and complain but I truly enjoy going to the store everybody's so friendly it's just a Great Community experience. Everyone is just so friendly and polite and helpful. Just a simple thank you he's all I want to express.

I Love my Harris Teeter! Its always super clean and sanitary and the staff is always accommodating and friendly! I wouldn't recommend another place to do my grocery shopping!

Super clean store, really friendly staff. Found what I needed quickly because I shop at HT all the time at home.just bought a few toiletries and sunglasses,not a lot of groceries. Was in and out quick.

Very nice Harris Teeter especially if you need better selection than Isle of Palms. Right next to a target. Tons of produce and great deli. Friendly staff and clean interior.
