99 cents plus store

I visited this convenient store to pickup and drop off my U-Haul. Both times were uncomfortable, the second being the worst.

When I returned the U-Haul, I arrived at 3:24. The drop off cut off was 3:30 before I was charged a second day. The owner came out to “guide” me and caused me to nearly jack knife twice because he didn’t know what he was doing. He then tried to get into my car to move my vehicle himself. Having my children in the car, I found that inappropriate so I told him I wanted to disconnect where I was, he refused to help me. Once the trailer was disconnected, he refused to let me get my paperwork until I helped him push the trailer through the mud to the back of the building. I slipped many times and ruined my shoes and clothing. If that wasn’t embarrassing enough, he wouldn’t allow me to enter the store after that and closed out my paperwork not allowing me to see anything and asked for no signature at anytime. Before he would try to close out my paperwork, he kept trying to offer my underaged daughter an e-cigarette purchase and even tried to invite himself to lunch with us. It was very uncomfortable because he was serious. Finally, he told me I can go and charged me a second day without my knowledge because it was then 3:37. Being a regular customer of U-Haul, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I DO NOT recommend this store for any business as he was very unprofessional, inappropriate, and shady.
