I'm very new to the RC life, but live my life in the mechanic world. I have a very out-dated drone and wanted to get it flying again. After about the 12th website I visited, this place actually had my motors in stock. I purchased both sets of motors (since they are getting rare,) and asked if this business could mark which ones are which, because I have no clue.
Less than an hour later, I received a personal phone call on asking what my needs were. I explained I was extremely new to this hobby and he walked me through that the motors are labeled clockwise and counter clockwise. He went into further detail on wiring and how I could tell a difference and what to look for.
Most likely 7pm in his time zone and he didn't "need" to provide that type of customer service.
So not only did I find a place with rare parts, but I also found a place who provides top shelf customer service.
My only disappointment was that I couldn't find any shwag (hats/shirts/stickers) to buy.
My shipment was dropped off at the local USPS within 2 hours. I cannot give these people enough credit.
I'm going to buy an RC car just because I've wanted one and their prices are excellent.
Above and beyond. This is a perfect business.

Had a great experience at Gallimods Hobby went there to pick up my 33 Hot Rod Traxxas RC. The staff was professional and knowledgeable. They were able to set me up with the right battery and connector to work with my G2 2200 Spectrum charger for my RC. I was also having an issue with a G2 810 2S 50 Spectrum battery that I bought on line that wasn’t being recognized by the charger. The staff knew exactly the cable I needed to and the reason it wasn’t recognized as a smart battery. I’m glad I went the route of going to my local hobby store other than buying it online and paying for a Traxxas battery and charger which have would cost me an extra hundred dollars. Just saving me an extra hundred dollars from buying another battery specific charger made the trip more than worth it.

Had very positive experience at Gallimods hobby shop! They took a very good care of my car, took time explaining details to a newbie like me.
I went to other shops in Westchester county in the past, and NEVER going back to those rip off places.

Awesome staff and awesome place! The GO TO spot I think around for RC related items and MORE... Came in on a Saturday afternoon with an older RC truck not running. Less than 100$, it was good to go. They also went out of their way to find me a cover for the controller which worked well being so old. Thanks again!

Great store and helpful staff. The owner keeps the inventory fresh and will order almost anything you you can imagine. They are currently working on the track in the back and will be race worthy soon!

It’s a bit of a far drive for me but off the 4 shops I’ve visited, it’s the best looking, and most well kept one. They have almost everything from crawlers to bashers to street cars. John and his employees are super knowledgeable and helpful. I’m learning about RC’s still and they’re able to help me and get me exactly what I need even If I’m not able to articulate it in proper term. I’d recommend this shop if it’s not to far from you.

John is very helpful and always makes time for his customers. I’ve purchased multiple Traxxas vehicles and each transaction was easy. He is very knowledgeable in RC and can answer any question you throw at him. I always have a great experience when I visit the hobby shop!

These RC cars are very technical and have a lot of moving parts knowing that John is there with his expertise to help me really does give me a lot more confidence to drive my RC. And Enjoy it because I know if something goes wrong I have an honest professional, my corner it really makes a huge difference on being able to enjoy such an expensive hobby.I honestly feel like this place is important to the Rc community keep up the good work guys

Awesome shop! Extremely knowledgeable and friendly service. They even switched the body out on the car I purchased to get the paint scheme my son wanted for no charge. This kept us in budget for battery upgrades.

I drive from Wappingers falls because this is the only good shop around the one by me the guy is rude and not helpful unless you want Traxxas parts. And you get 5 dollars back for every 50 you spend. The owner has always been helpful and professional. And he get parts for my gen8 lasernut Scx24 and others. I would highly recommend Gallamods.

Best RC shop in the Hudson Valley. Owner is very helpful with knowledge of Traxxas part and fixes that I've needed over the past year that I've been dealing with Gallimods. Great prices and will even ship if you needed. Plus you can't go wrong with there rewards program. My family and friends will never go anywhere else.

I ordered an RC plane Gallimods had in stock where as everyone else is currently backordered. Shipped next day, very quick delivery. Just what I wanted, TY Gallimods Hobby.

Interesting, there was a variety of hobby items to explore. I went there for plastic model cars and plane paints. It would have been great if they carried vallejo airbrush paints, but I did picked up some Tamiya paints.
