The Local

Loved the old staff, but the store was in shambles. It felt like walking through the set of a long forgotten 90s sitcom. The new renovations are literally a new breath of life and though all of the staff are new they are all wonderful. We are very grateful for the opportunity to shop so close to home! Keep it up!

The place may be new but I love this place already. It's a bit small when it comes to selection but there's still a good amount of stuff to last you if you're doing groceries. It's also very convenient for me since I live across the street, my only complaint is that there's no meat section (fresh meats, not the sliced packaged kind) but like I said the place is small so I don't hold it against them. Highly recommend if you're in the area

Great neighbors

I was there in 2018 for the nostalgia as i was a student in Umaine, orono 1994-1996. I think the place was called Thriftway then.

The store owner i met in 2018 was a very pleasant and helpful. I am grateful i manage to find the things i was looking for there.
