Publix Super Market at Waynesville Pavilion

Located on Frazier Street in Waynesville, North Carolina, the Publix at Waynesville Pavilion is well-stocked and clean. The employees were friendly. This location has a drive thru pharmacy if needed. As you enter the store, they gave some floats/tubes, table umbrellas, etc. which is helpful for vacationers who need those items. They have a great selection of wines and beers. They also have firewood at the front of the store next to the restrooms. If you are used to shopping at Publix, the store has similar layout and offerings as other Publix stores.

Publix has been my grocery store of choice for most of my life. When living in Florida, I rarely shopped anyplace else. I was very happy when the Publix opened in Waynesville. The customer service at Publix is outstanding. When I need assistance, there is usually an employee very close by. I’ve never had to search the store to find help, like at some other stores. Their produce department has a large variety of fresh, quality produce that is arranged attractively and seems to be continually refreshed. The same can be said for the deli, bakery, dairy, meat & seafood departments. The dry goods areas are always well-stocked, too. You can’t go wrong when shopping at Publix.

Great store, wonderful people! I love this store. Their selection and availability on items is top notch (even hard to find items). The store is beautiful and clean. Produce section is superb! Deli section is also on point. Great bagels!

Wow! This store is VERY nice! It’s super clean and has deli, impressive seafood department, beautiful flower section, tempting produce, huge wine section and a great over selection of everything. I made sure to stop by the bakery and pick up a couple cannoli. They tasted wonderful, by the way!

Publix is an important grocery store for Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas, and maybe other states. They have an enviable reputation for top-notch stores--and deservedly so. Each store is clean and well stocked, personnel are courteous and friendly. You always get first rate service. But this particular visit was for something difficult to get anywhere but Publix. Their seeded rye bread is possibly the best commercially produced rye bread in the country. I've tried many breads when Publix rye just wasn't available. None compare.

Great store! It was much more expensive to shop here but the place is a lot nicer than others around as well. Similar to Ingles. Meat prices are insane though, wow.

Being from Florida where there's a publix every other block, this has to be one of the biggest and nicest one I have been to. The shelves are always perfectly faced and neat. The customer service is also outstanding. Every employee I walked past, greeted and asked how I was doing. Definitely worth the long drive.
They stand by their motto because shopping here is a pleasure 😊

We have loved Publix for decades in Florida and were ecstatic to get one here in Waynesville! I love all of their departments but want to give a big shout out to their Catering department - all of the staff are extremely helpful, friendly, and the food is delicious! We are so lucky to have you here in town!

Love love Publix. Especially this one. They always put holiday food on sale when I need it instead of jacking up the price because they know I’m gonna buy it. Such a friendly staff and great pharmacy. Kudos!

I really like scones, Publix is the only store that sells these in our area. Love the orange cranberry ones.

They have a large selection of harder to find beers available in the refrigerated section. They also make great subs to order. There is a small area for inside dinning and if the weather is nice they have metal picnic tables. Great alternator subway for lunch.

This is the closest Publix to us, which is about 30 minutes away. I like the store itself, it’s more upscale and has some items you can’t get at Walmart or Ingles. It is more expensive, but I keep an eye on weekly ads and sales to be a smart shopper. We have gotten food from here before, ordering in person and ahead online via the Publix app. I will say that every time I’ve put an order in the app, it’s always ready later than what I anticipate. I end up wandering around the store for an extra 10-15 minutes, which is fine, there’s a lot to look at, and the store is busy. I got an Italian sub recently and it was delicious. I like being able to customize the sub with its toppings. I really enjoyed it. They have a lot of prepared ice teas which are amazing, too. A lot of their premade food like the potato salads are also really good.

The store is very clean. Nice product selection and great quality store brands. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

My wife and I received vaccinations here. Easy appointments and quick service. Wouldn't hesitate to use again in the future.

Always enjoy the vast selection that Publix has, and the staff is always fabulous. If I can't find something at another grocery store, then I stop at Publix, and they usually have what I'm looking for.

Clean, Organized, Modern. I visited this location many times during my stay in the area and got everything I needed. I've been to other Publix locations across the US and this one I found to be an awesome location. Staff was friendly and prices were reasonable. Overall, pretty satisfied.
