Smart & Final Extra!

I love going to Smart & Final. I always end up finding something not originally in my shopping list. For the holidays Smart & Final had 9 to 11 lbs 4 bone ribeye roast for 5.99 a lbs. I am dry ageing one with Umai bag and turning into steaks and since it won't be ready for 34 days the wife got one for us to cook for Christmas dinner.

I had been ordering groceries from Instacart for a year before coming in for the very first time ever. I was very impressed.

A great shop with a great variety of choices in products per section. The prices are very good without any coupons or membership cards. The produce is fresh. I went in the other day and spoke with 3 associates. All three of them were friendly and helpful.

The only thing that is tough is that the aisles are tight and is uncomfortable with a cart and several children, however for a small space, there is a lot of choices and not too crowded in the afternoon, so that's nice. Lots of savings!

The cashier Gloria is AMAZING!!! She extremely Professional, Nice and very Hardworking. I hope her manager is making sure corporate is aware of how Outstanding she is...

I love Fart and Sminal! My roommates and I go there so much that's our nickname for it. It doesn't smell like farts though. It's always very clean, has great discounts, and every employee I've encountered has been super helpful. I do wish it was open later but I'll take what I can get. See you in a few days! P.s. check out the little baked goods section by the fresh produce. They have these First Street brand madeleine/brownie bites that are sooo good.

Always very clean and well stocked with great savings in all departments. Best looking and best taste come from the meat and produce section with great deals every week along with the 25% & 50% off of their discount meat section..Definitely one of my favorite stores to shop.

Not crowded, everything I need, good prices and a great donut shop two doors down.

They never have more than 2 registers open which can be pretty annoying when they are busy. Other than that I have never had an issue with anything in the store. It's clean, the employees are helpful, and they stay stocked up on their items.

Clean, quick, not as inexpensive as I imagined, but okay.

I normally do not like going here it's expensive. But they have the flour I was looking for and a good price on raisins.

The store is well laid out and clean. The prices are amazing and the staff are super polite and help you get in and out quickly.

The associates at this particular smart & final promotes a family type environment. I enjoy coming to this smart & final. There are 2 gas stations across the street, a laundry mat next door, a car rental location that is caddy corner, a donut shop and liquor store, florist and a Popeyes take out and all of this is right off the freeway exit.

Bulk items for sure also many reasonably priced produce. If you love avocados, they have $10 bag of size 60 15 CT Haas avocados... Nice

Great place to shop, whether you need dinner for tonight, just milk, or 150 eggs (don't judge). Definitely use the weekly ads, for they have great sales, but the prices are good everyday on things like produce, eggs, and fresh salsa.
Best place to get affordable-but-functional kitchenwares and foodservice things, too.

Parking lot is spacious, but a nightmare to exit if you're trying to go east or north. Protip: take the exit by the liquor store to the side street. It has a signal onto Emerald, which makes crossing 3 lanes of traffic much easier.

Don't expect an international section - a few shelves for Mexican, like 3 kinds of teriyaki sauce *and nothing else* for Asian food, and no designated Halal or Kosher shelf. IDK where the 100s of local restaurants get their bulk fish sauce and waribashi and rice noodles, but it ain't Smart & Final.

Overall: Great store, great staff, covers a range of purposes, not just bulk/restaurant stuff.

Got what I needed, prices were excellent. The lady working noticed when they're we're 3-4 of us in line and opened a register within a minute. Beer impressed. Thanks
