The Home Depot

This is my local Home Depot. We are a general contractor/deck builder (West Coast Deck) and I probably spend more time here than my own house. Friendly staff and good selection for sundries (deck framing, Simpson hardware, fasteners, paint etc). Only negative is one time I tried to order the 12-ft Skeleton for Halloween and they sent it to the wrong place. But, no harm no foul.

Also - Home Depot corporate if you are reading this: can you please fix the WiFi?

Home Depot Oceanside has everything I need for DIY home repair projects-- like the bedroom door my sweet-looking FurGurl destroyed. Happy Jackie the cashier gives my pup treats. And all the Associates are friendly and helpful.

Tim really helped my family and I out tonight with figuring out the pricing for wood. He was extremely helpful and kind. He went truly above and beyond. Thank you Tim!

I went there with my wife for a property we are renovating, and Tom In the lighting department was very knowledgeable and helpful with every question we had for him about lighting and electrical in general.

I've been a long time fan of the Home Depot a place where you can find anything you need for your small project or your large project. For me this is the go-to store for anything I need for any engineering project. They have a wide variety of all kinds of materials for your home Fixer-Upper project or otherwise. I often say I wish I had a million-dollar Sweepstake to go through this place and get all the tools I need I feel like I would have arrived in life if that happened.

Rented a carpet cleaner here for a decent price. Communication between staff could be better because when my husband went to pick one up, he was told they don't rent them there by a floor person even though I called ahead before my husband left. The carpet cleaner was in great condition, and when I dropped it off the next day service was very quick.

I really enjoyed the garden centre. So many beautiful flowers!

Love this Home Depot. Every staff member is incredibly helpful and is in the best spirits despite how busy things always are. I had multiple jump to help me load my BBQ when I couldn’t figure it out. Great customer service!

His price will beat all competitors. He was able to come on short notice and was able to unlock my door very quickly. Very caring and professional man. I feel so lucky to have found him! Will definitely be contacting him if I need any more locksmith work. He's the man!

I had to update my review to tell you that KAREN is the BEST Manager here. She went WAY beyond what was expected to help me sort out a huge amount of issues I was having with online orders. This wasn't her job and she didn't have to do this and I am extremely grateful to her. She should win the best employee of the year! —and I definitely will be writing a letter to corporate to tell them how much I appreciated her. Thank you so much Karen!!!

Great garden selection including tons of pots for great prices. Helpful staff although you may need to ask clerk to call for one.

Although there inventory is not always updated they sure help you out when you need it

Excellent customer service! We had a heavy door delivered by a third party delivery company that was not placed directly on the front porch. We are in a senior community so this was an issue for us. One of the Home Depot managers came out within a couple of hours to bring the door to the desired location. He was friendly as well as helpful and had great communication!! I am truly impressed and grateful!

Great place. Lots of workers here you need something you'll run in to home Depot employees that will direct you to the right place. And that is very important. Unlike some other place that i live only few blocks away and if your looking for something there is no one to ask. And the 0lace I'm talking about is much more expensive. And there is overly anything American made.

Miriam (I believe is how you spelled it) who worked in the carpet area today was AMAZING!!!!! She gave really great advice and this woman deserves a raise! We’ll be back at this Home Depot again even though it’s out of our way. Worth it when you have quality employees!

I just enjoy going into the Home Depot, it therapeutic and leaves you short a few dollars, but hey that 4x8 sheet of plywood will fix the roof now. I have been a customer now since their inception. I get all my necessary parts and pieces there. When I need something they are the place that comes to mind. I was once an employee for a short 3 months and I was treated very nicely and I enjoyed my time at the store. The Vista store is always busy and the employees are sharp and engaging. Ask them a question and they know exactly where to find it, you gotta love it. The store is well stocked and carts are where you can get them. I like this Home Depot and i am a regular customer.
