Good friendly staff, their proceeds go to their homeless ministry. They have good furniture deals as well as discou ts for veterans. Days with discounts. It's good place to shop for used items.

Volunteering at Hillcrest Transitional Housing's thrift store was a rewarding experience. Everyone there was incredibly kind and dedicated to their mission of helping others. It's inspiring to see the impactful work they do to support people in rebuilding their lives.

This is my favorite thrift store! The prices are very reasonable and the staff goes the extra mile to be helpful. It seems they always have a sale going on which makes shopping here even more fun.

Really nice thrift store. The organization of the store is amazing, it's easy to find what you're looking for. Prices are the best I've seen in awhile! The bathrooms were clean and they have dressing rooms which I really appreciated.

Things might b a little higher than you expect but I will pay it because it's a non for profit and does/helps so many people in the community of the KC area. Also the Volunteers are so awesome here. If u want to save more $$ u can do the color of the day deals for 50% off 😍🤩

The best thrift store in Lees Summit. Don't even bother with red racks or good will, this place is where it's at. I have never found so many good clothes and they were so cheap. Dresses were $6-$8 depending on the dress, some of them were really nice! I had a ton more items that I wanted to buy but I had to limit myself. And best of all they had their dressing rooms open. The other places closed down their dressing rooms, permanently it seems. I'm not going to buy clothes without being able to try them on first, so I was so happy Hillcrest had theirs open. 10/10 would recommend if you're looking for clothes.

While visiting from out of state for the holidays I decided to stop by and give Hillcrest a visit. While here, I experienced a very clean store with courteous employees and volunteers. Hillcrest has exceptional prices on their merchandise however you can find additional “deals” by checking out selected colored tags. Huge thank you to this store for making this shopping experience a great one!

Always find unusual items for resale. The check most items costs online before they price them, so their prices have gone up lately.

best thrift store in lees summit!! quality used items at affordable prices. the store is clean and organized. my daughter and i typically visit once a week and there’s always new items to pick through. and to top it all off the employees are stellar people! they always stop to chat with my little girl and give her a free piece of jewelry, so she looks forward to that. this is a business i love to support!

I spent twelve years managing thrift stores in Columbia, MO. I took great pride in my stores having the lowest prices and best quality in comparison to the hundreds of similar shops i checked out over the years. This store in Lee's Summit gets it. They are not interested in monkeying around with metrics. They price to move the most commonly donated goods. Too many thrift shops are operating with inflated prices, and what they end up with are museum exhibits. Not these guys. They get it right. They run a clean, well organized store, with quality goods and, again, awesome, appropriately thrift store prices. They are a jewel in the glut of overstuffed, wildly irrationally priced thrift stores in our communities, and I encourage everyone to not just shop here, but to donate here.

One of the better thrift stores in Lee's Summit. They have great prices on all their items. I especially like Wednesdays, because that's when seniors 55+ can purchase items for half price. (There are some exceptions, so ask first). Staff is always friendly and helpful. I've found items that were in nearly new condition and that's always nice.

What a great place to find quality merchandise and at such a great bargain! The 1st Saturday of every month features everything in the store at 1/2 off (including jewelry & furniture). Open since 2012 the mission of Hillcrest Thrift stores is to provide 90 day transitional housing to people in need. They are taught to gain employment, budget their money, keep an apartment, learn new skills and so much more as long as they follow the guidelines of the program. Apartments are located in Lee's Summit and Independence, MO. Almost all the proceeds from the thrift store go back to the program! Hey, they are having a 1/2 off storewide sale on ' Black Friday ', Nov. 26, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Come on out!

Excellent thrift store for furniture, dishes, gardening supplies, electronics, toys and so very much more. Excellent prices with frequent 50% off sales! Very friendly staff with an excellent area for children to play while you shop. They also play the best music in the store. It helps make it a pleasure to be there and stroll when there's something upbeat that you can sing along with while searching for those hidden treasures. THANK YOU, HILLCREST STAFF! It is a great place to give to and support. They help so many people who face unexpected life challenges as well as those with learning disabilities. The management that is currently there is great. They are compassionate, helpful, focused and understanding. They work with a quiet confidence, sharing and instilling that confidence in those that are working for them. So check it out. You're likely to find some hidden treasures in more ways than one!
