I bought the lunch special. You get lots of food. Enough for 2-3 meals. Lechón, rice and guineos were delicious. Everything was good

Recently tasted LaPlazita’s patties at a Kwanzza luncheon. They were delicious and reminded me of the way Jamacian patties used to taste.

Went for a quick lunch and the meal was amazing!
I ordered two plates to go and was flavor packed and fresh.
Plate 1: plantains, ropa vieja, yellow rice and red beans
Plate 2: plantains, arroz con gandules, pernil

Super! Thumbs up to the gentleman with a great attitude who I thanked for serving the plates and in return he stated he was grateful for me, the customer.

Always good! Alcapurrias, bacalaítos, sorullitos de maíz! Love this place! Excellent variety in latin food and groceries as well!

I love La Plazita! Great grocery selection and an immaculate hot food section. All staff are kind and welcoming 🫶🏻 I go here once a week for lunch but would eat here every day if my husband let me 😂

As a Latino I’m so grateful to have this “bodega” / chinchorro. The hot food is always good except for some of the chicken. It can be hit or miss with how tender they can be one day and hard the next. Alcapurias are on point!!!! Very friendly.

This place is a hidden gem! Best empanada in town. When you walk in you are suprised with a buffet of choices. They also have a small grocery section. It gets packed so bear of that. So good!
