Debbie's Health Foods - Orange City

It was my first time there it was very nice some things were very expensive that was the only downfall staff was incredible really helpful and very nice I will probably go back and get certain things but other things I think I look somewhere else cuz very expensive.

Debbie's Health Foods is great. They have a large selection of items. The people are very helpful and know the products they carry. Store is very clean and great prices.

Great place for a wide range of naturals! I wish I would have known about this place earlier. I could spend a day just looking around all of their products.

A great place to find products you can’t find at other stores. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great customer service every time I shop there.

This is a quick little story, if you don’t like reading go to the store and buy “sports pain relief balm” by HempFusion, rub it on whatever hurts, probably not eyes though. If you want to know how this store changed my life a little bit, read on.

I’m a flatbed truck driver, 6’5” and 240, and occasionally will have such bad back pain due to elements of the job that I wakeboard with excruciating lower back pain. This morning was one of those days, and my usual back exercises weren’t helping.

I fortunately was parked in the same parking lot as Debbie’s health foods. On the door they had a sign for pain relief so I went in, explained my situation, and one of the nice ladies immediately went for a tester bottle of Hempfusion sports pain relief balm for me to put on my back while she showed me the other options.

By the time we got to the aisle with the curcumin and other natural pain relievers, an almost magical sense of pain relief was permeating my whole back and my pain had subsided from an 8-9 to a 2-3.

The relief was so drastic that all of my fears about how I was going to get through the day melted away and I couldn’t help but cry. I cry maybe twice a year, and usually only when someone dies or if a country song hits me in a moment of reflection.

I wasn’t expecting to, and I was so grateful I gave her a hug and said sorry I just didn’t know it was possible to have pain leave that fast I was so worried about today... a little worried she may not have wanted a hug from a big crying trucker and embarrassed from my reaction to the relief I tried to quickly pull it together.

She kindly laughed and gave me another little hug and told me it was going to be ok. I’ve never had a big sister but I wanted to leave a sappy review and say that I genuinely felt cared for at this store, and felt like for a few minutes I was cared for like family.

For a truck driver alone on the road all week that’s such a drastic difference in our day to day tough and lonely trucker lives.

Thank you so much for the help and kindness, I know hugs aren’t protocol and crying in stores is stupid and embarrassing but you lifted my spirit today and I thank God for finding this little store and the incredible pain relief you gave me.

I've only been here a few times, since I'm new to the area, but I'm really impressed by how friendly and helpful the employees are.
The food selection is good and they have RAW DAIRY from a local farm! I'm a raw milk & butter aficionado, so it's been wonderful to find these products here, given that they're not easy to come across. The farm that supplies them also brings pastured eggs and they take orders for various other products, like raw cream or ghee.
Very happy with this store!

Rose is so very helpful! She is very knowledgeable, patient and takes this time to show and teach you what genuinely works. She is very personable and friendly! Will be back very soon! Also, with respect to all, it’s absolutely fantastic that masks are optional here!!! (Breathing in high levels of CO2 is so harmful!) Many don’t know this, However; it being a choice we Thank you Debbie, you all are doing a wonderful job!

We LOVE Debbie's health food store!! We have been shopping here for years... Staff are awesome, knowledgeable, helpful, and always really nice. You can tell sometimes when it's been a long/rough day, especially on the discount Tuesdays, yet they are still there having a good attitude at the end of the day.

There's been a lot of "haters" leaving them bad reviews in the last several months, the majority of them being about mask wearing or "social distancing" and we all know that stuff is totally bogus and ridiculous. I appreciate that Debbie's wasn't brainwashed into all the craziness. 🙌🙌🙌

It has been years since I visited Debbie’s Health Foods, but after a recent autoimmune disease diagnosis I figured it was time to revisit this local resource for health products. Upon walking in I was immediately greeted with a friendly face. I know other reviewers complained about staff not wearing masks, and today was no different, but at no point did I feel unsafe. The store was very clean and social distancing was being practiced. I took my time looking at all of the aisles and displays, because I didn’t go in looking for anything in particular, but mainly to get reacquainted with the store. I was surprised by the variety of items that were available, and appreciated the way that everything was grouped so that you could tell which section you were in (natural beauty products, vitamins/minerals, pain, dry grocery, pets, etc). I had various staff check with me throughout my visit to make sure I was finding everything ok (again, they practiced social distancing).

After looking at everything I decided to ask one of the clerks, I believe her name was Sophie, what she suggested for managing inflammatory pain (I told her about my recent diagnosis and some struggles I was having). She was very engaged and took some time to share her story with me and some of her struggles (which were very similar to mine). I appreciated that she took the time to relate to me and share with me what worked for her. She never made me feel pressured into buying anything, and just overall had a welcoming presence about her. I got the impression that she genuinely cared about me (a complete stranger)!

I will most certainly make it a point to visit more frequently and take advantage of the products they carry.

I can't express just how excited I am to discover this store so close to home! I love the variety of products here and the staff was super friendly! There were many brands and products that I had in my Amazon shopping cart because I couldn't find them anywhere else, and all those items I found within this store. I'd much rather spend my money at a physical, local family business and I'm happy that Debbie's is the place I can go.. We will be back every week for sure!

I have been shopping at Debbie's for almost 20 years. I love the employees that work there, the nutritional information and help they give and I also love the fact that they let me choose weather to wear a mask or not wear a mask while shopping there. I honestly feel safer walking in there without a mask on then being forced to wear one any place else. With proper nutrition and health your immune system can fight off this virus just like the flu or any other virus out there. Thank you for giving us that choice and I will continue coming to Debbie's for my vitamins and nutritional needs.

I have always loved shopping here, I moved here 6 years ago. Today I had a great experience, I had so much pain for a couple of weeks in my ear and one of the gals said the product that she suggested was the best she's ever had. I got it and pain was gone by the end of the day. The staff is always knowledgeable and helpful. Great great experience always.

I absolutely love shopping in Debbie's Health Food store in Orange City! It's always very clean and the employees are overly helpful with me. The store is bigger than any health food store I've been in and there are a lot of products to choose from. I feel like I could just stay and read the labels all day. Everyone also seemed super caring and sweet during my last visit while I had my one year old with me and she started to cry and act out. Keep up the great work!!!

Debbie's has been our local health food store for as long as I can remember. Whenever we've needed whatever, they've had it; saving us the long trip to some other larger store or waiting for on online order.

We've also found them to be very helpful and knowledgeable, something you don't always exactly get from an online sale or the major chain health food stores.

They carry just about everything you'd want, foods, vitamins, supplements, health and beauty products, natural makeups, books, pet foods, and more.

Solid four. Satisfaction's pretty high here too, knowing we're shopping a local family business.
