Walgreens

This is my favorite Walgreens. I've always found the customer service and managers to be friendly and helpful. I know people are writing in with complaints about the pharmacy, but from what I've read, it's not the fault of either the pharmacists or pharmacy staff. Sadly, the problem is at the corporate level when they're not hiring enough staff. Yet, it's been my understanding that Walgreens is making huge profits for their shareholders because apparently, it's all about Wall Street and not Main street and pharmacists, staff and managers take the hit.

The customer service at this location is excellent. Besides the greeting when you walk in, I came back after four hours and they recognized me. I had a problem with my earlier purchase and they were very accommodating. From the manager to the cashiers, they went out of their way to help me out. (Also, the pharmacy in the morning was so busy with vaccinations and yet everyone one of them wore a smile. )

Cindy in Pharmacy deserves a raise. I've been coming to this Walgreens for over 15 years and she's the most efficient pharmacy tech I've ever dealt with at this location and during the busiest hours of the day. She was calm, collected, and professional providing a great experience.

I recently met George the store manager, and had to tell him how impressed I was with the store's operations. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I shop here usually at night, and have to give a shout out to Gina, Ronnie, and Ryan up front and Andy and Doug in the pharmacy.

This is a great Walgreens, (I used to go to the one in South Elgin, but would have to wait a half hour just to drop off, then another half hour to pick up. The drive through lines there take for ever.) This one is less crowded and open 24 hours! The Pharmacist is a very nice guy and has given me some great advice.

I just called and the pharmacist there was very nice! I sometimes have issues with Walgreens and have considered switching, but the Larkin one may have won my business longer. I usually go to Huntley and they have been great lately as well!

I go to Walgreens all the time, we have been for years. Most of the employees are very nice and are helpful. There's not really a time I can remember that they didn't have what I needed. They always have good deals on everything too. Thanks walgreens and especially for being 24hrs

Just called the Elgin Walgreens on Larkin. First of all, they are open 24/7 which is amazing. I needed to check availability for a prescription; they had the prescription but in a different dosage. Andy searched all over the area checking to see if any other Walgreens had the dosage I needed. Then he offered to call them for me to make sure they had enough on hand. Wow - he saved me so much time. That kind of customer service is rare. Thanks Andy!

Like to say, ( and of course going there since I was 15) always there are those that I see or know there face but have no idea who they or what they there.. see just like in life we come across very rare people, people that may be so blunt that it hurts but people taut are honest that mean well. And take the time to understand, and those people some them if your lucky you’ll meet them at Walgreens. Firstly, ( as I said Horrible with names) the night manager who has just joined us in the United States, I commend him for doing what he doing hardest worker, may not know the ins and out but obv has the potentional to be great. With the help of another manager sometimes works night u have recently met him, he also studied in school- addiction. Right then I knew he had a pure heart and was one of those people that would go out thee way to make sure you have what you need, and underneath him the other onband of night employee ( of course I can’t rembmer names - :( you all know who I am talking about becdue e is the funniest kindest person I have met. He always somehow lol makes a joke even at odd end hours, but he is also kind. He cares to much it seems at times, not onky for himself but for his fellow employees.. he seems he has r had it easy, none of them have. That’s what makes them an amazing dynamic.. at first glance you may be apprehensive for some, but in the end.. they are jut people like you and I. And no ones perfect, yet they strive to be. They strive to just be good people. ( and for the one you know who you are! Live and don’t worry about the trivial little things, some people other employees younger ornodler may be Havkng a hard time right now.. for those I pray for. And for one, I pray for every day that he or she finds faith, faith in anything.. but starts seeing his or her position as not just running around... you hafe the potential to change someone’s life, Costomers want to know who they can’t trusts. I pray you find that, as it deflects the other employees. There is one that brings the team down, and personal level lack of. So of course there like any of us.. we all go to work with all the weight go whatever path wrrre going through, sometimes it’s just nice for people to take a time out as notice.. those four, did. Others one female manger not so much, I pray you find uourpwr and happiness.
As for the other I don’t know you prob have helped me a dozen times and thank for that.

You fork you know who you are, and for those that are quick to judge he knew nignt manager joining us in the US ( remind yourself: we do what we know right ? And we do is not what he’s used to, it’s part of Him and not his fault, that’s the way he was raised. Diffent life, and we can’t judge that just help him along the way instead of judgment. Imagine if the roles were reversed.

See I do believe everyone desrhes a chance, and everyone derrseves a fresh start to be forgiven and to be respected.. and if you open your eyes truly, you will see.
