Fantastic local store, get the membership as more expensive without it, good quality produce, top notch bakery and sushi shop, lots of regular groceries from yogurt and meat to fresh oysters, well stocked frozen aisle as well. And helpful staff, good hours. Highly recommend it

This store is very neat and always is packed with all the varieties of the groceries needed. The staff is knowledgeable and nice. Restrooms are clean. I love how few people (customers) are here in the middle of the day!

Decent neighborhood grocer. If I lived closer I would use this store exclusively (I'm a big fan of walking to the grocery store, this is a quality of life issue). Helpful staff.

A clean, well lighted grocery store where food quality is always good. The service quality has improved significantly over the years. Compared with stores overly stuffed with items blocking aisles, shopping at Safeway is guaranteed to be a pleasant experience.

I always shop at this store and one other close one, but the customer service here is excellent! I had forgotten to use my number to get the discounts and said "Ah man!" And the lady working the self checkout stands heard me and asked what was wrong and I told her. She refunded me the amount I would have saved if I had put my number in. That was so nice! The people are always friendly, but I really appreciated this above and beyond customer service!

I love this store. The employees are so helpful and accommodating . Unlike some other stores, their products are located and priced correctly. Store is always clean as well.

Great inventory, Continually located,, Cost less than Whole Foods. Located near to Whole Foods or Trader Joe's in case you want their distinctive varieties.

A nice and clean place!

I love this Safeway. There was a child left in the car in the parking lot, I was mortified. When I notified the staff they were very immediate and after appropriately even though they were very busy. Thank you Thomas, the sanitation lead, you're awesome. He went above and beyond and even helped me when I ran out of gas after he was off. This store was fully stocked and they had lots of good stuff on the 50% off rack... I love that.

These guys do a great job here. It's not quite as large as some Safeways so some items aren't maintained in stock that you might find at another. This is where you see how closely in tune with the neighborhoods needs and likes in the specific items they do maintain in stock. Very nice produce section.

I have been shopping at this store for the past 20 years. I have found it clean and employees are friendly. You get good quality. I wouldn’t say that it is the cheapest store, but you got to pay for the quality, convenience, and service.

I love this Safeway, it's my favorite in the Bay area. They have a really good deli, with friendly knowledgeable staff. Friendly, helpful employees, and great management. I also go there when I need something in quantity like: Fried chicken (delicious!), deli prepared salads like potato, slaw, and macaroni for: get togethers, potlucks, and parties. Fresh yummy sushi also!! Great meat, and seafood department. They have a Starbucks in the store if you need your caffeine fix while you shop. The Manager, and supervisor team is running this store very well.

Safeway is always a easy choice for items, great selection and competitive prices. I appreciate their quality and the organized and clean stores. Best part is they are typically conveniently located.

I believe that the people that work and come here are fantastic. The employees are polite, humble, and go out of their way to provide good service, and the atmosphere is very friendly.

Once upon a time I had bought 4 gallons of milk and some other stuff, and intended to walk home with all of it in some paper bags. The person behind me had asked if I would like to use their cart(because I wasn't using one), to which I explained I would walk home. The cashier rightfully judged that the 1 layer of paper bags weren't going to be enough and thus doubled up both of the bags without putting extra charge.

At this point I offered a dollar(in change) to compensate this because I know we would normally be charged some amount for paper bags but he was hesitant in even taking this small amount! He only accepted when I said if nothing else than it could at least go to charity or something(there were some jars on the register for some local charities). Even then, he only took about 15 or 20 cents, said it was enough, and put them on the side saying it'll be part of the "public fund"(presumably to be used should another customer in the future be a little bit short on change for their purchases).

The workers here are incredibly gracious, and I have never experienced such great service anywhere else as I have at this grocery store. I believe that the behavior of the employees here demonstrates a perfect model for how to conduct one's self in front of others.

I enjoyed shopping at this safeway more than my regular one. (Homestead) their staff was nicer and they had a better in stock position on both sale and regular priced items
