Cardenas Market

I was amazed at how huge this market is. It is huge, roomy, and very clean. While visiting my observations were that the workers keep very busy working, cleaning, organizing, and much more. Help is not far away. I ordered a breakfast burrito and had the full package (onions, cilantro, red salsa, beans, rice, and chorizo,...). I also had a Sprite (suggested by my server a nice woman with glasses). I forgot her name but she was helpful, courteous, friendly and fast. I saw so very much I will be back!

Thank you! My review is honest, factual, and unbiased. When I give such a positive review it is earned. I have been to several Cardenas Markets and this one is the best! To be fair all the others are older and smaller. The employees are always good but this market was better.

Well? I came back! 5/22/2024 I forgot to take more pictures! I bought some bakery items Mexican bread, fresh fruit, and water. I was full from breakfast otherwise I would have had lunch. [I wanted to try carnitas. Chicken, or shredded beef]. I WILL be back!

This Cardenas is clean and very nice. Almost like a mini city with everything from a bakery, groceries to meat, fish 🐠 and everything in between. There is a corner for everyone and everything. Mini restaurants, at the very end of the entry. And there is a place you can sit down.

Super clean! You can get food hot and ready to go. I picked up some tamales, they were ok, a bit on the thin side for $1.79 ea. Everything is neat and in its place, marked so you know where everything is at. You can buy "Pan Dulce", Flowers, Coffee, - they also make tortillas there (I Haven't tried any, yet). It's located behind the Carls Jr.

Deli section is wonderful! Service & food very good! Chili verde burrito & chili relleno excellent! Yummy yum yum!

This is a new store so everything is new and clean. Love the bolillos. Love the tortillas. Quality is the same as other stores. Love "La Cocina" getting the family packs makes meal time Quick and there are plenty for the next day.

Love coming early in the morning before too many people are out. Today there is no cashier only the self checkout with one down. Took about 5 min before another chaser came to take people. Overall I like this new location. It's clean and easy to find what I need.

It is a comfortable store, very clean and has the best Niño Envuelto de Fresa...!!!

Their prepared food is best. The produce is not too expensive and always very fresh. Store is very clean.

This location is great. Easy parking, usually it isn't very crowded, and lots of great produce. The chili peppers are nice and spicy. The pan dulce and the prepared ready to eat food is perfect for mid week meals.

Bought Agua frescas... very tasty. Wish I'd been on my way home to pick up some of their prepared foods. Next visit...

It was my first time visiting this Location in MONTCLAIR. I stopped shopping at their Ontario & Pomona locations, the stores parking lots were just so dirty that it made me wonder about the hygiene of the cocina, bakery and produce areas. Also, employees seemed over worked not enough personnel and not friendly at all. This location (MONTCLAIR) is brand new. I was very impressed. Parking lot and carts are clean, store was very organized and employees very helpful and friendly. Rafa in the cocina was very accommodating and very kind. I bough shrimp ceviche and chicharrones which were very delicious. Hoping this location continues to thrive with cleanliness and good service. I don’t mind driving the extra miles to support what is now my favorite Mexican store.

Fresh and clean. Grand opening. Well, everything looks new. They have pan dulce Mexican sweet bread, cake shop, fresh store made tortillas, Mexican butcher with cream and cheese station, and a prepared food stand with tacos, burritos, fried chicken and more! Workers are mostly friendly and helpful and are happy to help in English or Spanish. Except the girl in the cake shop was curt and rude to me when I asked if they had single flan. She just said I don't have it. When i asked her anything else, she just said I don't have it. whatever. They do have great produce and a large selection of products especially latino variety.

Ralph the deli manager gave us exceptionally great customer service. He was energized and had a positive personality. Food was fresh and delicious.

I like this location it's always clean and well stock but the one on Holt & San Antonio I don't like it there's many homeless in the parking lot it makes me feel unsafe.

I love how they design the store and they always have people ready to help you. Fresh and quality food. The part I love about this store is the self check out.
