Lucky

The store was clean and well stocked. The prices are fairly reasonable but some stuff still a bit high. The employees were nice and helpful. This is a pretty giod store to shop at. There was also plenty of places available to park.

Who would have guessed that Lucky would make Mexican pastries? I saw the tricolored cookies, sprinkle cookies, and conchas. As a concha snob, I'm happy to share that their conchas are surprisingly good, even if they look a little burnt. They're soft, chewy, and flavorful. I will definitely going back for more!

They always go tye Extra mile. Joseph, Excellent service in Bakery and Dell. Just overall, the folks here are great.

So happy with the bakery department. I called like almost all of the Luckys and safeways in SJ, Santa Clara and surrounding cities and this location was the only one that still makes doll cakes. It came out beautiful and my daughter absolutely loved it. I also requested it to be done earlier and the baker was able to make that adjustment. So grateful for this location :)

Went grocery shopping 🛍 🛒 one thing I love about this Lucky's is that it is always clean. I found everything on sale yea. The employees are very helpful and friendly 👌. I will never go to another store to shop. My name is MARY.

During COVID-19, coming to this Lucky grocery store at Saratoga Ave. wasn't a bad idea. My family had tried an order from Safeway to pick up and hadn't gotten everything that we wanted, so we came to the Lucky to get other things. We got everything we hadn't gotten from Safeway, plus a few other things. I think the best part was that the meat we got is currently priced at $0.99 per pound, which is crazy! The store didn't seem to be too crowded and everyone left everyone else alone for the most part.

They are always so nice! Shop there all the time! I couldn't even pick out a favorite associate as they are all very customer service oriented, know what they are doing, care about their service towards you! It does get busy! But doesn't all grocery stores?! Oh, they are also very clean! Big deal I think for most people!

I'm generally very happy at this Lucky. Always plenty of parking, helpful staff, and the shelves are well stocked. One complaint I frequently make is that it's hard to find things and the staff might send you to two or three places to look for it. They have things in multiple places and it's not always intuitive.

Mostly Harmless

Yet another locale supermarket in my neighborhood. I've grown accustomed to Lucky as my store of preference. But for whatever reason, it tends to be less popular or less frequented than the other large supermarket (Safeway) in the Santa Clara valley.

The check-out clerks are friendly and helpful, even at the self-check. The store is always clean, and I rarely see the shelves low on stock. I will say that they do not carry some of the products that I like, where other Lucky stores do. But I understand that a store carries what the majority of customers want and I am not always in the majority.

The building, like so many in Santa Clara has an aire of the 1950's-1960's, as if it never changed. I appreciate that.

Very friendly staff. Always smiling. Always offers help, if needed. Makes sure that the customers found everything they needed. Because of their friendly attitude , I usually visit this location more often.

Lucky has good prices if you shop well. Especially do they have some good sales almost every week. I highly recommend this nice grocery chain check it out when you can,

Lucky's supermarket had lots of kitchen essentials in stock and at good prices, including seafood. Self checkout is 15 items or less, and there are usually >3 cashiers.

Main place I shop since its close to work and very chill atmosphere of the store. This location seems fairly clean and well kept.

Found everything I was looking for. Check out was fast! Update: Once again I found everything I was looking for. The selves are all full! Update: Tonight was a little busy. Did find everything I was looking for though.

I shop here often, they have all my favorite brands. Pete's Coffee cost less too. Fresh breads and a wonder deli.

I love my local Lucky's. Weekly specials are terrific for a single guy like me on a fixed budget. Five Big Stars.

Clean, stocked. Came looking for egg nog after 2 other stores were out. They had plenty and even a few special flavor variations.

Good Lucky store with awesome Gluten free and Dairy free options!
Pros:
1. Even though its a relatively small Lucky (sq footage-wise) they are AWESOME enough to an impressive Gluten-free section (its at the end of the cookie aisle). It saves me a trip to Sprouts or Whole Foods to get the GFCF staples my 12 year old needs.
2. They carry the GFCF (GlutenFreeCaseinFree) Amy's Spinach Pizza that was my kid's pizza default.
3. They carry the Vegan Delight GFCF shredded (Mozzarella) cheese that I can only get at WF. (Again a requirement for GFCF pizza homemade that is..)
4. They carry Kona Coffee that I can't find elsewhere in the southbay.

Cons:
1. They don't carry the Foster Farms GFCF chicken breast tenders that Safeway does.
2. Their avocados aren't usually ripe enough to use the same day.

My local go to store. Always friendly employees and quick to help! Get the free membership and app to get even more savings.

Love their meat & seafood dept. The 5 for $25.00 deals are great too! Yohan is so very helpful!
