Clean like most Vons always has the freshest produce of all grocery stores with Albertsons being its only real competitor in that department. And they have everything you could need to make breakfast, lunch or dinner. But your gonna pay a little more for literally everything but that's the price we pay for the best and freshest produce. Ya dig!

I came into this store for the first time today and my experience turned out to be amazing. Although the prices for most items was on the high side it was the staff that won it for me! I had just came in from out of state and was rushing to get some items. I went to self checkout to get flowers and candles for my gf birthday in secret. She was also with me in the store so I was rushing so that she didn’t see me. I requested cash back and while completing my order I forgot to grab my cash. I walked off and went all the way to my car them BOOM 🤯 I remembered I didn’t collect my cash! By the time I hopped out to run back in to get my money it was gone. Two Workers jumped right on it and checked the cameras. They seen a man come right behind me and took my money and used it to pay for his groceries smh. Although I totally understand it was my fault they still replaced the money that was stolen. I simply couldn’t believe it and almost started crying from the amount of kindness they showed me! They absolutely did not have to replace my money but they did! I will forever be grateful for that and they just don’t know how much they helped me! Thanks again great customer service! 💕💯

The cash register guy was really nice and friendly, I didn't get his name but he was really great personality and great service. Good, clean store, found what I was looking for and you feel really welcome by the workers there. Nice people

These are the most friendliest Vons clerks I have ever met! I especially like John and Penny. Always saying hello to me and quick questions about how I'm doing at my job and stuff... they don't forget previous conversations. Just friendly convo love it.

Ok I have to admit that there are really two places in Vons that I would always look at first. One is the deli counter as I like their chicken fried, baked or Habanero style. The other is the discount goods in the back. It's like shopping for a deal. Afterwards I just mosey around the store. There is a busy Starbucks here. The flowers 🌺🌹 💐 are always a plus to see in the store. Enjoy your visit. 🤗

Love it! Small store but it has all the essentials! The employees are super sweet and they have a big selection of baked goods and preheated food along with junk food but also organic healthy food. A nice blend of both! The produce looked gorgeous! Very happy with my visit. If you are a member bring your card the prices are a little high.

Good grocery store with reasonable prices.

The Vons on Tamarak isn’t my typical grocery store but when I went there recently their staff member Patty was amazing. Not only was her knowledge of whisky and bourbon top notch but she was so helpful and friendly. I will definitely add this store into my regular rotation and recommend it to all my friends. Thank you Patty for all your help and expertise.

A Vons out there off of Tamarack Ave., by I-5, Encinitas, Bad traffic on I-5 caused us to exit & found Vons for a quick lunch. Mind you, Vons has a great deli dept that makes great sandwiches! My sandwich was scrumptious, Turkey Pesto Avocado on sourdough! My sandwich guy was so nice, friendly & very accommodating. A relatively small location, clean, well stocked, with very friendly staff. Just remember when you're around this area, stop in, you'll be glad you did. 👍

It's a store. Vons/ Safeway. All good inside, sometimes great discounts on stuff. They won't allow you to use self check-out with alcohol, but this may be California thing.

We have been going to this Vons for many years and while it is a smaller store they have an on-site bakery and deli, fresh flowers and a huge veggie department. The best quality of this Vons is the people who work there. They are friendly, genuine and good at their jobs. Going here is one of the few places in town where the workers say hello and chit chat making it feel like the small town it used to be. It gets busy during the summer when the tourists flock but anyone can google the store and see real-time how busy it is so if crowds are a bother - just go another time. We adore this Vons and very much appreciate what they have endured this last year.

This is a great Vons store! It has been here serving Carlsbad ever since I was a boy. Those small, it is well-stocked and the choices that it offers are always great. The staff is friendly and professional. The parking lot is adequate and very accessible. It’s a great neighborhood grocery store!

Easily found what I needed. Greeter at the door welcoming you in, was nice. Store was clean and orderly. Self serve register was a snap. Busy little Center but plenty of exits in parking lot make it a breeze to make a quick pit stop.

This is a small great Vons store it has a service deli hot Bakery has everything but it's small it's a beach store. They have a great marked down section and great employees. They are right by the beach real local and like I said maybe a little pricey at times but it's worth it.

I was self-isolating after Covid exposure and placed a pick order. Parker was amazing, calling me about substitutions when they were out of two items. He was super friendly and checked the eggs twice before placing them in my trunk.

Great employees, the cake decorator lady is my favorite. She is the sweetest person in the store. Staff is super friendly and helping, and the store had good stuff like chickfila sauce
