Nijiya Market Mountain View Store

This is a small Japanese grocer. But it has all the essentials in high quality, including locally sourced fresh sushi, sashimi, tofu and pastries. I keep going back whenever I crave for them.

They offer fresh and seasonal takeaway bento boxes, sushi, and lots of side dishes to choose from! Plus, high-quality organic produce and authentic Japanese products are available.

What times Uji Time so long? Finally I can find Uji Time ice cream in nijiya mountain view, and this location just carries too many flavors that it will take a while for me to try.

The place to get Japanese food, snacks and groceries. They also have a small sit-in area so you can eat your sushi, udon soup or fried Japanese cakes. It's a niche supermarket for Japanese fare.

This is the best Japanese supermarket! You can get prepared sushi, fresh sushi grade fish to make your own, and all the sides and sauces to complete your meal!

I tried their To Go Sushi and they were pretty good. Finally a place where spicy tuna is spicy.

I felt very safe lining up in a social distance manner. All the baskets and shopping carts were wiped down. They enforce a maximum number of people inside. Food was great.

IT IS A MUST VISUT PLACE EVERY TIME I'M IN THIS AREA!!

I love this place because they have always been able to provide quality take out entrees, even through the coronavirus pandemic. My local Cupertino Marukai is not able to match Nijiya in terms of maintaining consistent quality in the take out foods.

Be advised that there are staffing issues here like every other retail store in the South Bay so you will have to wait a bit to checkout, even on weekdays. Plan ahead for that!

High quality seafood at great price!

Good local Japanese market I like to go. They have a stand where they sell udon and soba like the breakfast place I used to go in Shinjuku.
