Amy the baker in SV Safeway saved my Christmas! My father had been wanting a Black Forest cake I had completely forgotten in ordering it. When I walked in to asked about ordering, I was told that they were backed up on orders but did ask for information incase they had extras. I got a call on Christmas Eve that Amy is able to make a Black Forest cake. I surprised my dad with the cake, and he was overwhelmed with joy, as that is the only thing he wanted for Christmas.

Had Maria at the deli make me a Turkey sandwich and she was positive, incredibly nice, and over all made my day. Great service from her!

The staff people are very nice and helpful, and the promotions are great. I have Just4U (now Safeway for U) and use it regularly. This Safeway has been my go-to store since 2017. Every department is excellent.

Just wanted to write a raving review for the amazing customer service from the manager Kellie. She has been extremely helpful any time I've needed assistance in the store. She's always positive, friendly and leaves you with a big smile on your face. She's the main reason we continue to shop at this great location. Thank you very much Kellie!

I am fiercely loyal to this Safeway and it’s for one reason: ROSE THE CASHIER. I seriously feel like a kid on Christmas morning when I get her as my cashier. She’s so funny and has great energy, it makes me understand what people say someone has infectious energy.

Also the workers who handle the carts do a great job, some store’s parking lots are chaotic, not this one. It’s the little things in life I guess

My store. Been going to the Scotts Valley Safeway for 13 years now. Rarely been disappointed. When I have been disappointed, they have never hesitated to rectify the situation. When they have had to rectify a situation, they have never hesitated to make it make it better. Great store with a great staff. This particular store and the people who maintain it not only serve the Scotts Valley community, but also have people coming all the way from the East and West Santa Cruz communities. Interesting thing about that is, both of those communities already have a Safeway store readily available. Those people actually choose to drive to Scotts Valley to shop. One of the managers, Kelly, is an absolute gift from Heaven. Scotts Valley Safeway rocks!!!
And nothing has changed, since Google asked. Still awesome. Still awesome.

It was a pretty late night trip. The staff was friendly and the cashier had a great attitude about being there at such an odd hour. But we in, needed a little help and got out. Overall it was a pretty easy, simple, and quick experience. Safeway for the win.

I went there today to order flower arrangements for a friend who is recovering from cancer. The lady who worked in flower department, Eliana, was very nice and helpful. She arranged the most beautiful vase for my friend. I highly recommend to shop at this 24 hour Safeway especially their flower department.

Sanitation guidelines well established. Carts are cleaned constantly. Ironically with less customers there are more lines open. I love the produce. Always fresh. They have some Hispanic foods as well. This place has the best oranges in town!

This was during the worst time of Covid. Nice & clean. Perfect customer service. Starbucks inside. I absolutely love this particular Safeway. Other than no pharmacy, this is our weekly one stop grocery shopping stop. I highly recommend this fine establishment. Thank you, to everyone who works there!

Well stocked. Easy to remember which aisle contains what. Produce is my favorite area.

Always has good sales! I also love their Rewards program. You sign up on their website. Then you can get coupons for your local stores, and after you purchase items, you can get cash back. It's really great!

I enjoy shopping at Safeway.
It has a great selection of meats and poultry. A wonderful selection of frozen foods. A tasty selection of breads. A deli that provides different sandwiches,. Salads ,. Cheese and hot foods ready to eat.. there's also a green groceries area that has many fruits and vegetables. Some veggies already sliced or chopped.
This store has what you might need or was looking for. Beautiful plants and flowers can be found there.

A very clean and we'll stocked store, excellent floral department as well as fresh seafood/ meat counter, plus a large variety of breads and desserts in the bakery department. I really enjoy shopping at this Safeway

Clean and well maintained store. We got a mini toy car for my son for $6. He was very happy with that. Also the rest rooms are neat, they are located just at the meat counter

We ordered a full sheet cake for our Halloween Party at Cotillion Gardens RV Park and let them decorate it however they wanted and they did an AWESOME job. The cake itself was very goid and fresh. Everybody lived it!!!

This Safeway is conveniently located if you are camping in the Henry Cowell Redwoods. You dont need to carry nothing from home and just get here and pick your next meal!
Employees are super friendly and corteous.

Favorite local Safeway! Employees are consistently very helpful & friendly. The store always has what I need. I travel from Felton - an extra 10m to go to this store instead because it is more consistent with inventory & friendly employees.
