Johnnie's Super Market

Johnnie's is awesome! Better stocked than the lower 3 towns and everything doesn't cost an arm and a leg. The store was super clean, the employees were all very helpful and polite and, I never say this, but, it's always a pleasant experience shopping there.

Johnnie's always has the hard to find ingredients. They also usually have the best pepper selection compared to anywhere in the county. Everyone is always kind and helpful.

I love shop I love shopping here all the employees are very friendly and helpful and it was the first place that I found vegetarian beef jerky that is very delicious the best I've ever had. This place gets two very enthusiastic thumbs up keep up the good work guys and gals

I grew up in Boulder Creek and the store is still the same as I remember it as a child. We like to get the sausages from Johnny's not exactly the ones from behind the counter but there is a refrigerated section that has really nice quality sausages for breakfast. They have a good selection of tortillas and they have a brand of refried beans that we like . Also the prices are lower from other markets that we been to for the same products the organic Pizza frozen section Newman's is a good price they have a nice selection of ice cream. Not so much water we like the BPA free water bottles I can't really seem to find those there so we do go to different markets. Johnny does have the best prices I'd say we shop their frequently

It warms my heart to see all of the positive feedback for Jonnies Super. My great grandfather opened this store and it was his life. I remember numerous trips as a child walking down the hill with him to check that it was running smoothly while he still owned it. I am so happy to see that it is still part of the heart of Boulder Creek. He would be so proud. ❤

Johnnie's is a small, independently owned grocery store full of gems. It's got a real meat department and high quality, local produce at great prices. Not the variety you'd find in a huge store but the basics are always fresh, plus you're supporting local family farms. They have been adding to their selection of gourmet and health food items. I love the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to go the extra mile in service.

Small well-stocked grocery store. I've been coming here my whole life and it's always been top rated! The meat at the butcher's counter is some of the highest quality meat you can get outside of an actual butcher's shop and the deli counter is great for potato salad and made to order sandwich. Bit more expensive than chain grocery stores, but the quality more than makes up for that.

Love going to Johnnie's for their marinated meats (esp the Tri Tip and chicken). Great Deli section and reasonably priced. It's a small store in a small town so prices are a little high but that isn't unusual. My family has been coming here for decades and will continue to shop here for generations to come.

This is the kind of market every small town should have. incredible deli whips up a brisket Medusa sandwich that melts in your mouth. By the way, these corn tortillas are bomb!

Johnnie's Market is more than just a grocery store. It is a place where people gather and talk, enjoy a cup of coffee or get wonderful bar-b-que meals. The staff are friendly and connected to the community in a way that makes you feel welcome when you shop there! While it may not be as big as a chain store, it definitely has more heart!

The ABSOLUTE BEST baby back ribs , chicken breast, pork chops in the world !!! These meats are cooked to perfection, that every time I visit this store , even though I am a vegan I have to contemplate the eating of these meats . I set aside a day of the month exspecially for the glorious consumption of any one of their delectable meats in their hot food case. The man who cooks these is a genius in the art of cooking these meats..WOW I cannot say enough about their ready to eat meat section!!!! YUMmmmmmMMEEEEE!!!! I feel sorry for people who cannot get their hands on these delectable delights

If you going for a day-hike to big basin, please please stop here for sandwiches either on the way there or the way out. They make awesome chicken, tritip, and brisket sandwiches. They have proper bbq and smokers in the back, and you can tell they know how to bbq. Highly recommend!

Nice store with a great Selection and a very nice Deli! They have a little spot in the back with fresh sandwiches made to order, BBQ, sides and more.

Love Johnnie's! Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. Most if the employees know me by name and it is always a nice experience when I go there. It really is a family neighborhood market.

They cover the basics - what else can you ask for? Good produce section. Pricing is reasonable considering you're in the middle of the mountains far away from any farmland.
