Awesome store! Incredibly well stocked! Best of all some very friendly and helpful staff! My daughter and I went looking for something for a Christmas gift that was, unfortunately out of season, but the great folks helped get us pointed to another local option in town that got the job done. Grateful for this store being in our community.

Dangerous place for outdoor enthusiasts. They haveeverything for outfitting your fishing trips on either Lake Superior or the other bodies of water in the North coutry. Definitely worth stopping if you are passing through Duluth heading up the North shore. Easy access to highway.

Best shop in town. This shop is packed floor to ceiling with everything from fly fishing gear to downriggers. The staff are extremely knowledgeable on many different styles of fishing. Love this shop

Marine General has customized my fishing kayak with everything I would ever need. I can go to any of the 8 guys that work there and they are always so helpful and offer so much support. I have gone back for electronics, waders, boots, rain-gear, muskie baits, lithium batteries, specialized rods, top of the line reels, and great services for winding up fresh line. I am so grateful for the service, the support and the knowledge that they bring to the party. Without Marine General - I would not be able to fish for Muskies successfully. I am so thankful they are in Duluth.

Great deals on winter clothing. I bought a pair of boots, bibs, and gloves and spent less than $200. Ice Amor Clam brand so good quality. Wish I had more time to check out the rest of the store. They have all their summer fishing gear in stock now.

Best tackle shop on earth?? Maybe. best tackle shop in Minnesota?? Probably. Definitely the best tackle shop in duluth. It has every piece of salmon fishing gear you can imagine. Bass and musky stuff too, and a lot of it. Also everything you qould need for dyi boat repair or modification

Wow, this place has almost everything for boating, sailing, and especially fishing! Electronics, parts, docking equipment, life jackets, even seasoned wood for grilling your catch! Helpful staff and good prices, too. Parking is easy - you'll quickly be in & out.

Absolutely love this place. The Francisco family are pros when it comes to getting you what you need. You can get some of the stuff cheaper elsewhere, but why would you? You KNOW everything you get here is top notch and so are all the staff. First thing I ever got here was an Martin Automatic Fly Fishing reel. Was a gift for my grandfather when I was 14. It FINALLY bit the dust 2 years ago. Almost 30 years of heavy use. When I say they sell the best, this is exactly what I mean.
