The Hope Chest Thrift Store

Went here when I was homeless gotten my son four jeans from the children's place. I was happy he still wears them. Good place to shop at.

Always find great things here. Store is very organized and employees are helpful and do a great job.

This location is the best hope chest, friendly volunteer staff and good prices. Cheaper than other thrift stores and good finds.

We always bring our donations of clothes, household items and knick-knacks to this facility. The service is exceptional, they'll even help you unload your vehicle, and they always offer a receipt. The best part is that what you donate goes to helping those who aren't fortunate enough to have things to donate!

It is a bigger store than what we have in the foothills, they had so many wonderful things. A tad pricey for me, but everything is these days, !! and it goes towards the best cause ever. Go there, you won't regret it.

Big place, well organized and neat. Prices can be a little overpriced on somethings for a thrift store but I get it, their purpose is to support hospice care. Jasmin was nice, knew her prices and pleasant at check out. Will visit again soon.

They have a great book selection and range from 25 cents to a dollar. They have specials each day of the week, such as furniture day, hat day, and senior day. Sometimes clothing is overpriced, but I find there toy and book section worth it!

If your on a tight budget or if your like me you like a good deal ,then this place is a good place for that. You have to have the time to look for what you are looking for, but if you have the time you'll definitely find the deals.The money they earn goes to Hospice so it's a win win situation. Give them a try.

I love shopping at the McHenry and Pelendale store and find so many great things! My mom told me about the Hope Chest when I moved here to Modesto from L.A.. Your employees have always been very courteous and nice. I would love to work there! Keep up the wonderful job.

Lots to look at and fun finding things you want and didn't want but had to get. Any thrifter will know what I mean. Great place to go to.

Best thrift stores in Modesto. Today I got a glider with foot glider for only $36. Always something I like and whatever it replaces I donate back to them.

I love it there. They have so much variety. Everything from clothes and shoes to TVs and plates. Cheap.

It was good. We dropped off some items and then visited the store. Nice people working there.

They have a special (like 50% off all furniture or 50%off housewares) every day of the week. Tuesdays are books sale days.

Love these thrift stores. Went to Ceres Hope Chest and both stores on McHenry today. Always a good experience.

Great thrift store it's pretty big and always getting new things everyday so if you like thrift stores I should be one on your list.
