Big 5 Sporting Goods

One thing I truly feel about all Big 5 Sporting good stores. Everyone is so so nice! And really knowledgeable! Me and my friend were on our motorcycles. Shopping for pocket knives. The gentlemen behind the arms side of the store. Became like a friend! Started showing us the airsoft and pellet hobbies. Truly made a memorable experience. We were greeted right away when we walked in. It was refreshing! Please give kudos to the whole staff. Even though we didn't buy anything. They told us to have a nice day. Great people, great service!

Went here today. I got 2 pairs of hiking shoes. Great price and better than what I could get at Walmart. Plus, better service.

Went in for a pair of shoes and was immediately greeted upon arrival. Went to the shoe area and was helped very quickly. I tried on 4 pairs of shoes and bought 2 pairs. On the way out I found some shorts for a great price! Excellent customer service and check out was a breeze.

The staff is always very helpful. The managers are also great. They honor the sale price for me on a pair of shoes that I wasn't able to get in time. 10 out of 10 service thank you so much. I can't wait to try on my new shoes

Big store behind relatively inconspicuous entrance with large selection of teasonably priced hiking gear, less overpriced. Personnel attentive and helpful.

Greg the store manager is amazing ! I wanted some comfortable work shoes as I had been having problems with my feet and he truly looked after me ...he suggested some lightweight Dr Scholl's and they worked out perfectly. I went back a few days later to buy a second pair because I was so pleased but unfortunately he didn't have anymore in stock but Greg followed through calling around to see if he could find any local Big 5 stores and eventually set me up! ... AMAZING service from Greg who sure knows his job plus he's a real nice guy! I highly recommend a visit! 5 STARS for sure!!!

Nice job in posting the covid 19 policies. You may want to attach another sign stating employees open the door to regulate customers in the store. Myself and others thought you were closed. But thank goodness you're open! My spot for shopping once week.

Huge selection of winter gear. Found snow boots for my daughter last minute and the staff was very professional and helpful. Definitely my go to place for sporting goods.

This is the place to go for camping gear (in addition to the army-navy surplus stores in downtown Oceanside). Friendly staff (be sure one of them accompanies you around the store, just be ready with your shopping list filled out because these people get very busy. Store also has the best return / refund policy in the business, check them out!!!

I live in Oceanside and drive past the Big 5 there to go to Vista. Their store is larger and cleaner and the staff seems more attentive got a great deal on a pair of tennis shoes

Clearance shoes are always filled on shelves...makes fitting growing boys for new sports shoes very helpful! Love the fishing aisles too.
