I'm a regular in this store from a very long time. Claudia and Mary the nightshift associates are best, caring, helpful, respectful and knowledgeable. Walgreens must definitely cherish them and give them a huge raise for their dedication and hardwork.

I'm traveling from out of state, and had a problem getting a refill due to a very frustrating situation in my hometown. The pharmacist and staff worked very hard (and quickly) to assist me in straightening up this obnoxious problem! Thank you, sincerely Walgreens location!

I had the best customer experience provided by Donna!She served me two times in two different days and both times she was very polite and friendly .Very pleasant person.Exellent service.I had some issue with my insurance and prescription she resolved it.

Pharmacy staff are wonderful. They listen to your concerns and look into the issues that arise in an efficient manner. Thank you so much Walgreens pharmacy staff. Also want to mention, out of all the Walgreens locations I have used in the past, this is the best one.

HuGE Thank you to ALL the workers at this Walgreens at 2560 W Golf Rd in Hoffman Est. iL! I had a prescription that could only be filled on Dec24 due to strict state laws. As I live in constant pain from broken/fused spine, you saved our Xmas by staying open 24hrs. Not only that, but the entire store was FULLY employed with workers who were EXTREMELY courteous & helpful to everyone. Blessings to all who sacrificed their holiday to work -after all, bacteria, injuries, health conditions don’t take holidays! 🙏🫶🙏

The friendly employees here remember me, whether they're a cashier or a pharmacist. Because this Walgreens has one of the few 24-hour pharmacies around, a lot of people fill and pick up their prescriptions here at all hours, so it makes sense that it is usually always busy. Do expect to wait, whether you're going through the drive through or waiting in line inside. I work evenings and I've never had a hard time picking up prescriptions around 9 pm or later. Every pharmacy employee works very hard to help. I've never had anyone be rude or unhelpful to me. On the contrary, every employee in the store has been very helpful to me, polite and professional.
For the people leaving bad reviews because of long wait times at the pharmacy, come on, we're in a pandemic. Staffing everywhere is down. People other than you need their medications, too, and the pharmacy has to accept every prescription that comes in and try to fill it within a certain amount of time, no matter what time the prescription comes in. The employees are trying to get to you in a timely manner, but if everyone pushes for the fastest possible pickup time, someone is going to have to pick up their prescription a little later. It isn't the end of the world. Keep in mind pharmacy employees don't solely fill prescriptions. They also communicate with doctors and insurance companies about prescriptions, they answer and direct phone calls, send and receive faxed prescriptions, fill prescriptions over the phone, complete customer's orders in-store, send notifications to customers, and answer customer questions in-store.
For the reviewer upset about pharmacy employees stating the name of their prescription out loud, it's a practice to make sure someone doesn't receive the wrong medication. Not every random person who overhears a prescription name knows prescription names by heart and what their purpose is, so don't worry about being judged. Employees don't scream out prescription names either, they speak them at normal, inside-voice levels so someone standing directly in front of them can hear it. Not every person who picks up a prescription checks the name of it before leaving the store, and if the pharmacy employee gives you a medication and you leave with it, you can't return it, though you can get your money back if you got something in error. But overall, that's a big hassle that can be avoided by an employee simply stating the name of the prescription being picked up out loud, which is what the pharmacy employees already do. That's normal at every pharmacy I've ever been to, including a mail-order pharmacy, not just the Walgreens pharmacy.
For the people complaining about not being notified when their prescription is ready, you can literally sign up for notifications with a free Walgreens account. I'm inundated by multiple messages when my prescriptions are ready. I get a phone call, a text and an email from Walgreens, and that's exactly what I want. I've been at a nearby urgent care, the doctor there faxed the prescription to Walgreens, and I've gotten a "Your prescription is ready" text before I even had the chance to leave the urgent care. If it isn't ready, or there's an issue, you get a notification about that, too, whether it's a text or an automated phone call. Most issues are resolved by the pharmacy employees within a day, although sometimes there's a larger issue, like the doctor's office is closed or the doctor is difficult to get ahold of, etc. During the last three years, I've only had one long wait for a medication that's difficult to get ahold of, and that was mostly due to communication issues between a pharmacist and a nurse who was unsure and had trouble writing out the correct medication quantity, formulation and dosage. The second time I got that medication filled, there wasn't any issue getting it or filling it.
If you're impatient or expect to get your medication instantaneously, I suggest you adjust your expectations. Ask to pick up your medication the following day, be patient, and get a good night's sleep.

For those that have posted negative comments about this store should be ashamed of themselves. This Walgreens is the only 24-hr location within the area, located on a busy intersection, next door to an emergency room and assisted living facility, etc. They provide extraordinary customer care under the circumstances. I have been there several times and witnessed this first hand. The pharmacists are all very polite, knowledgeable, hard working, and caring despite being yelled at continuously by unappreciative patients. A pharmacist is not there to just place tablets in a pill bottle. For those ignorant people, look into what their job entails. They are masters of drug therapy and are there to help answer all your questions about your medication.

In addition, the staff here have put their health and family's health on the line to help serve the community during these dark times. All the technicians at the store are amazing. They are able to put a smile on your face after a rough day. Nevertheless, please remember to be appreciative and kind to your pharmacist and technicians!

Great customer service tonight at the BUSY PHARMACY ! Love the Asian Pharmacist here. !!!!!!! He works very hard and this pharmacy is EXTREMELY busy since it’s the go to pharmacy for patients leaving the St. Alexus ER DEPT and Streamwood Walgreens is no longer 24 hr so he is slammed with patients and he was all alone tonight working a busy rush of patients. .He managed to get all my medications in a reasonable amount of time . I so appreciated his hard work because I felt so sick and was in pain myself after leaving the Er myself.It would be nice if Walgreens hired more help for him but I think he is doing a fantastic job all by himself !!!!!!!!!!! Kudos to him !!!!! 🙂

The Pharmacy Department is wonderful! They worked with us so my son didn't have to miss work to take my husband, a recent stroke victim who uses a walker
for his Covid vaccine. I got my vaccine and didn't even have a sore arm.

WE recently moved to S Barrington, and 24 hours Walgreens near us is a blesssing, considering my busy schedule and frequent refills my mother needs. It is a busy pharmacy being close to a large hospital. Express Pick up works perfect. The staff including couple of trainee pharmacists are ver professional, helpful and have pleasant demeanor. They go beyond the call of duty to help. My interaction with senior pharmacists and the Manager were occasional, but they are very knowledgeable and comprehend, process and answer questions promptly. The only suggestion is that more space is needed for the pharmacy considering customer traffic.

On saturday 07/18/20 my mom could not get in her car. She is 86 so I worry about her. The associated put a new battery in the remote of hers but the doors still would not open. They called the police to help open the car door. They also called me to let me know what was going on. If they could not not get the car door open they would let me know. They got the door open. Called me to let me know my mom is alright and she just left. Thankyou Walgreens and Hoffman estates police for looking out for my mom.

For bad reviwer below...Boo hoo i waited in the drive thru for 25 minutes. Yeah probably you messed up..how entitled can you be? Im surprised they decided to even deal with you for 25 minutes instead of refusing service.. Lmao

24 hour drive through pharmacy is the best in the area. A word of caution if you have a liquid prescription, use the window and not the tube lane or they won't send it and you will have to get back in line.

Everyone is so friendly the first thing they do as you walk in is greet you with a smile. Meena and linda at the cosmetic department are so helpful when you need their help to make a decision about makeup or perfume love the choices of perfumes and cologne much to choose from.. sorry this is Walgreens on Schmale and Fullerton in Carol stream....

The pharmacy staff is very professional. Some of them know me so my prescriptions are ready when I get to the counter
