First time here, but definitely won't be the last. Server was patient with us and explained the menu to 5 newbies. Food came out in a timely manner and was very flavorful. Pricey? Sure, but you get what you pay for.

Great place we travel here from about 30 minutes away every few months. I just realized I haven’t reviewed this place yet and we had exceptional service from Jocelyn so I decided to make sure I had a review. We get the sampler bag everytime we come and we get all three flavors and it’s unreal. I would drive an hour for it. Some of the stuff is very expensive but get the sampler and it’s reasonably priced and you get a bit of everything! Love love love this place

Crazy Crab truly is a gem for anyone who appreciates cajun-style seafood. The flavors here are simply unmatched. Now, I must admit, I'm not typically a fan of places where I have to work for my meal, cracking shells and peeling to get to the good stuff. However, the taste at Crazy Crab is so irresistible that it's worth the extra effort. We chose this spot for an early dinner to celebrate my nephew's birthday, given his fondness for this type of cuisine. Opting for the trifecta of sauces at a medium spice level turned out to be the golden choice. Personally, I ventured for the crab legs drenched in garlic butter with a spice level cranked up to about 75% (I Luve Crazy), which was delightful, but I have to concede that the combination of all three sauces is truly where the magic lies. Both the food and the service were top-notch. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

We come here often, if you enjoy cajun style seafood, this is a good place to visit. We ordered the Crazy Pot "I love hot" style. The food came fast, and our server Jocelyn was very attentive and pleasant. We had a couple of issues with our order, and even though at first we got a firm "no," she came back and made it right. Overall, the experience was really good. We ate coming back for sure.

I live in Texas and will be coming here very often just for this restaurant! 😁

Crazy crab... “seafood boil”. This type of seafood has been taking the US by storm! It’s all over. This place does it right! The Cajun sauce is right on and the price is decent. Expect to pay $80-$100 or more for two people. If you are not spending enough, you are not getting the full experience. This is the first time being here but back home in Michigan we go seafood boil eating often. This is like eating steak and it can be enjoyable when done right.

This place does not give you any garlic in your sauce but some places do, some don’t.

If you have not eaten this type of food, you will be surprised. It’s really good if you like seafood. Avoid this place if you cannot eat shellfish.

Highly recommended!

FYI, as of 3/6/21 crawfish was $16 lbs and shrimp is $20 lbs

The Crazy Pot was an excellent choice for my mom and I to share during our first visit at Crazy Crab. I highly recommend the "Getting Crazy" sauce blend with all three flavors (thanks for the recommendation, Derek). Derek was so kind and hospitable as our server. Please give him a raise! It was mine and my mom's first time having Cajun cuisine in the bag-style with the Crazy Pot and you guys killed it with the food and service.

Crazy crab food is delicious. I love the crab boil with cajun seasoning. I will definitely order from here again.

This place is an eclectic mesh of draw on the wall plus Cajun Creole in a plastic bag filled with garlic butter and awesome seasoning.

I tried the "sample everything" style of dinner. This 3lb feast consisted of three styles of prepared shrimp, clams, mussels, corn, potato, sausage, crab legs, and crawfish.

I went with the servers recommendation of the mixed flavor style along with an above average heat. It was actually still a little mild for me but the flavor of the garlic butter along with the Cajun and Creole type seasonings was very good.

The only negative I have to say about this was that the corn was way overcooked on the cop. It was just squishy.

I highly recommend the Crazy Crab Seafood Restaurant if you are in the area and have about an hour to kill.

P.s. you WILL get fixins on your hands. If you try to be neat and dainty you will not get the experience you are looking for.

This restaurant is easily on the top list of our favourite places to go to relax, eat delicious seafood and drink beer. The seafood is always fresh tasting, and even more importantly, the meals are always consistent in their quality.
Also make sure you check out their Facebook page as they list their specials there (like Monday night is Buy 2 lbs of shrimp, get the 3rd lbs free)

First time coming here. Ever since the Joe's Crab Shack in Schaumburg closed up, we've been looking for a replacement joint that's still local, and now we've found it. Crazy Crab has pretty much everything you want in a seafood restaurant, they have fish, clams, oysters, lobster, crawfish, mussels, shrimp and naturally crabs. They have a wide assortment of beers as well. When you place your order, you have a choice of sauce being either Cajun, Lemon Pepper, or Garlic Butter. Then you can choose your level of spiciness afterwards. We had the fried oysters and fries for starters, then for the entree a pound of clams in lemon pepper sauce, a pound of shrimp in garlic butter, and a pound of mussels in lemon pepper sauce. Everything was so good! We're so glad we found a new seafood joint, we're now thinking of going there again this week. Definitely recommend! Just so you know too, when you order your items, it's ordered in full pound increments. So you can't order say a half pound, or a pound and a half. Also the interior had intentional graffiti on the walls, tables, chairs, and rest room to add to the atmosphere. It's a very nice touch in my opinion.

Get the crazy pot and don't look back

Went there to celebrate a birthday with my mom who has some pretty significant allergies to some types of seafood. Our (very friendly!) waitress Monica understood this concern and spoke with one of the cooks, Mike, who came out to our table and sat down with us. He explained the details of how the food is prepared, how often the cooking oil in the fryers is changed, etc. He took the time to listen answer our questions. This was a completely unexpected level of service from anyone in a restaurant, but especially from someone in the back of the the house.

My wife and I finished off a crazy pot and it was delicious. Mom had shrimp and we split some beignets, all was super tasty.

I would eat here again for sure.

All three sauce mix (lemon pepper, Cajun, garlic butter), order rice, spoon all that awesome sauce and seafood juice mix from the bottom of your bag onto the rice. You're welcome.
