Ross Dress for Less

You know, Ross is actually a very very very nice place to shop for kids/home/holiday gifts similar to Marshalls or Tj Maxx, just maybe 1 star lower in quality of some products. Just the other day I was driving home from Costco but spotted a Dollar Tree plaza on 59th in Naperville, along with Ross & Burlington. So I stopped by at Ross & was very surprised to spot a bag of Ghirardelli Chocolates for $9 where’s just at Costco they were $15. So I took my time to lurk around this place for potential gift ideas still stocking up for X-Mas.

I’ll tell you what the prices at Ross are amazingly affordable yet the quality of the product is just as good as you would see at Nordstrom Rack and/or Tj Maxx. I was very surprised to be honest. I bought men’s polo perfume a set of 3 for like $16 which by brother received exact same as a gift last year for $24.

I purchased a nice big giftable Belgian (GMO-free) 2 boxes of chocolate cookies for $7/ea. which at Costco cost around $19-$25. Would have taken more but there were only 2 available.

I spotted a cute fashionable brand-artwork paintings by this famous designer, forgot her name but you’ll know it if you see it. She has colorful watercolor acrylic paintings with flowered, perfume, puppies along with designer magazines such as LV, Prada, Chanel… you name it. So online or on eBay they cost between $30-$60 depending on the size. But at Ross the highest price I saw was $12.99 😱

I saw exact same/looking huge rugs they sell at Costco for $150, while at Ross they are $99.

I purchased a very nice 3 shelf corner unit for my 1/2 bathroom. Made of thick durable wire, basket style for $24. I was searching high and low for something similar at HomeGoods and their usual prices are around $40.

Anyway, to conclude my point about trip to Ross - I simply recommend trying it out just to see the difference in prices and quality of the products you buy at other competitor retailers for 2x the cost. So don’t disdain on this store just because it’s not at your usual Nordstrom Rack plaza.

Go here for great bargains on clothing, home decor and kitchen essentials. The accessories are not that great though but you can find some nice branded clothes and home stuff here at amazing bargains . I ended up picking a lot of clothes, household items from here. Even wall clocks and garden decor was pretty good. Some light furniture items too.

Good experience. Almost everything is in discount. We did over 200$ shopping there in a single go as we find many things to buy 😄😄

Great store and friendly staff. They have a lot more to choose from than other same name stores in the area. My mom found a lot of nice blouses and saved a lot of money. Best time to go is morning and or early afternoon if you want to avoid crowds.

It was good, but it should have more variety

The best place to get any kind of outfits at an affordable price. If you have more patience then you can explore more on the store

I am far far from a wealthy woman. I am a single mom I have a teenage son and a pretty doll of a daughter. I wanted to make sure that they felt confident on their 1st day of school and so I decided to take them shopping for their 1st day outfits.. I was very scared about cost and if I was going to be able to make it. Not only did I make it but I was able to get them extra things and these were nice things they loved them. I could see clearly that they both felt great . It might take a second to find what you're looking for, but search for it because it's there! Be patient and just take your time looking for it...

Hands down one of the best late night shopping experiences I've had. The girls were so nice and helpful!! She even carried most of my bags to the car for me, and they were fricken heavy! Good job girls, your kindness was very much appreciated.

Store and employees very nice. Wonderful selection of items. Compared to other Ross stores in the area I give this store a five. Decorated 3 rooms bathroom dining room and living room for under 250.00.

I have found many great items at good prices here lately. I've purchased Christmas gifts & toys for the church toy drive here. Many nice gift boxed sets of slippers & spa items. Very nice selection of nail polish sets, lip stick sets, make up sets or spa sets for teenagers & me too! Many Juicy Cotoure items( make up, travel bags etc.). Very good prices and merchandise. It's like a treasure hunt which I enjoy doing. I love the selection of purses & shoes. Dog toys are plentiful & cute. I always find something to buy. I'm hooked & love Ross!! Please have more night gowns in L & XL in the lingerie department is my only complaint. I purchased a Michael Kors winter scarf (MK on one side/ leopard print on the other in cream & black) for $17.00 which makes my cream colored Columbia winter coat stylin'! The Columbia cream colored winter coat w/hood was originally $160.00 but the Ross price was $49.99! Thermal core technology so I stay warm but don't look like a puffed up marshmallow. Micheal Kors black leather gloves with gold zippers for $24.99!!! Come on we all know MK items are far more expensive than those prices. I'll say it again, it's a treasure hunt at Ross & I've been bringing home the gold!! Love Ross!!!

Always find good deals here. Ever changing inventory and great mark downs. Found some great items. Never disappoints.

Too many things to find... not a lot of time to go around! My go to place to buy stuff at every reasonable prices.

Ross has a different type of selection than other stores. Puts a nice spin on the shopping routine.
