Old Wethersfield Country Store

Absolutely LOVE the Old Wethersfield Country Store! The new owner invited me to be a vendor and provided my wood flowers a spot in the store, but there's so many other great things about this Main St store. You never know what cute items for a gift or yourself you will find there! Plus locally made kombucha and an old fashioned candy bar. There are always nicely curated sections for upcoming holidays.

We stopped in for a quick visit and we were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the charming quality of this store. There’s a wide variety of tchotchkes, foodstuffs, gifts and CANDY! Yes, old-fashioned candy you can grab from the jar and fill your candy bags to your heart’s content! And Margie, the owner is pleasant and fun, too!

I love this store. There’s so much here to enjoy whether it’s gifts, crafts, candy. Margie is delightful and you can feel her passion and enthusiasm. What a great addition to this charming town.

You never know what you will find here. I really enjoy visiting this small store in historic Old Wethersfield. Endless jars of "penny candy" as well as a wall area filled with candy. Cheeses, Biscuit Bar, and all kinds of spices. This is the place to go for that unusual small gift for the person that already has everything.

Such a cute spot. The owner was so helpful to me and my husband - we were visiting from out of state and even went above and beyond to help us find some local spots.

Wonderful place . great smelling soaps and classic candy but my favorite was the ice cream. best pistachio ice cream I've ever had and has a whole pieces of pistachio in it. none of that fake green ice cream stuff.
Also if you're feeling dangerous try their coconut curry ice cream I surprisingly loved it and it is officially on my top five best ice creams list.

I love how they decorate during the holidays Halloween and Christmas on Old Wethersfield on main Street is so beautiful all the towns and businesses how they decorate and how they participate in the community is very lovely the scenery is so beautiful and it's a great walk very beautiful place to visit

I love the country store so much.Recently a new owner took over and I was told by multiple people that there was no candy so I went over to see for myself and I loved it! The owner was so nice and explained how the candy haven’t been shipped yet, I loved all the new editions so much, will definitely be going there again.

One of my favorite places to visit in Old Wethersfield. Small store with lots to offer. They sell anything from bath/spa products, unique toys, small food / cooking items, gourmet cheeses, and of course tons of candy. You can select your own choice of gummies, all which are unique shapes and flavors.

Enjoyed our visit, friendly service, and purchased a locally made decoration for Halloween.

Went to this store one day during the Christmas tree lighting and there was a lot to find. Lots of local merchandise, snacks, drinks, etc. You name it they probably have it. Plus the prices were very reasonable. If you have not been here before I suggest making a visit one day.

Great gift baskets and customer service! I called to order a gift basket for family staying at Hartford Hospital. I provided a few details about the types of items I wanted the basket to contain and some things the recipients enjoy. The basket was beautiful, delivered promptly, and the selection of curated gourmet items all paired perfectly together. My family was impressed by the array and quality. It was a perfect gift.

The shops were wonderful lots of neat little gifts. Happened to find an outdoor market the tea from the Saffron Lady is amazing.

However Lucky Lou's was a huge disappointment. The owner was not only rude and disrespectful to employees but guests could hear him. Last time I go there. Looks like The Charles will be the go to place from now on.

I loved visiting the Country Store on Sun. 1/22/23. Great, unique inventory. Excellent customer service. The cashier even offered me a straw for my Avery's cream soda. 😺

We hired Old Wethersfield Country Store to do a grazing table for the cocktail hour at our wedding. Natasha did a great job and even got dry ice to keep the food cold outside on a very hot day. The table was beautiful and the food was delicious. Thank you Natasha!

Awesome store for very unique and throw back gifts and great bakery.. candy and nostalgic games dolls a little bit of everything! If you LOVE Unicorns this place has great items pens, dolls, key chains etc LOVE this store! It's a blast from the past and unique in the present!

This place is super cool. They have all kinds of old-time candies and toys from the 60s and 70s and everything modern as well. They also have every spice you can think of, pickles, olives and Specialty olive oils. You will not be disappointed if you come to the store.
