Stop & Shop

Very clean store with some unique products. The staff are friendly and helpful. Even at peak times like a Saturday or Sunday morning it's not as clogged with shoppers as some other local grocers are.

Glastonbury Stop n Shop is the best,everyone is very friendly,especially Joe Thornton and Matt the coca cola delivery guy and Vicki the store manager

I love their cake. I always buy birthday cakes for all my family here and everyone loves them. Yesterday I bought a cake last minute for my sister and it was very good.

Good for bottle returns or getting cash back

This stop and shop is always clean. This particular day the customer service lady wasn't so pleasant. My 1st time seeing her here. But Deitrick is always so helpful knowledgeable and pleasant. What a wonderful supervisor he is. His good spirit rubs off on staff and customers.

These are still some challenging times with the pandemic and the way the economy has been affected as well as peoples lives as a function of the economic challenges. A grocery store is a fundamental business providing food and other necessities to sustain our lives. While some items seem to be missing I’m sure stop and shop is doing their best to keep well-stocked shelves. Inventory and logistics surrounding transportation of grocery items is essential.

I went to this store to grab some things on sale and when I got to the register it wasn’t taking off the correct amount. I looked up the digital coupon and realized that I was incorrect about the item that was buy one get one free. This man who I can only assume was a manager gave me the discount! Such a nice and kind gesture.

I don't usually post reviews for grocery stores but this was necessary. As it is truly difficult to find good customer service anymore.
Today I was searching the entire store for a rare item and had no luck. I asked the young man behind the deli counter named Robert, if they had the item behind the deli. He told me where I could find it, near the deli area. He surprisingly, went out of his way, came from behind the deli counter (no customers waiting at that time) to locate the item, then showed me where it was! I was so surprised because it's even hard to find staff at most places who will say hello much less try to help you with ANYTHING!! This young man deserves recognition as he made a customer feel appreciated and like Stop & Shop cares. This took minimal effort on his part but was a huge gesture for me.

I usually only come to stop & shop for deli and a few other things because they are a little pricey compared to the other stores I go to. I came in here yesterday and about 6 different employees greeted me while I was shopping which I thought was absolutely wonderful. To walk in a store and get greeted by people makes you feel happy and your business feels appreciated. I worked for s&s for 4 years and it was a great company to work for wish I could go back. I got cheese from the deli and they we're quick and sliced my cheese the way I wanted which usually doesn't happen because my son likes it paper thin and most complain they can't get it that thin but the girl who took my order was an assistant deli manager and she did a great job

I don't know... maybe I was in a good mood to contribute to my experience but, everyone there was incredibly nice. From the deli guy loading the cooler with $6 lunch grinders to the cashier, everyone served or helped me with a smile. Great place in a fantastic town.

Love coming here Glastonbury CT very convenient and close to exit from Wethersfield CT. Nice short highway drive as well. Beautiful scenery of the CT River

Good selections of meat and fish. Butcher is good. Wide range of products. Good people in the pharmacy. Overall good store. A little pricey of course like all of the Stop and Shops.

Definitely the cleanest Stop n Shop I have been to. The produce is outstanding, customer service, awesome and their meat and deli departments clean and huge variety. Best Stop n Shop around.

Bakery area right by all the windows is the best bakery layout of any Stop and Shop around. Rest of the store e very good, rest rooms could use some attention.

Let's be honest, no I one(at least that I know of) really wants to go to the grocery store. But if you have to, which we all do in some shape or fasion, Stop & Shop has found a way to make shopping a little less cumbersome and sometimes even pleasant. We enjoy shopping at stop and shop and recently started using their peapod delivery service which saves time and is a great way to avoid making those trips to the store if you really don't want to.

Glastonbury Blvd Stop & Shop is sooooooo clean in every isle. The produce always looks fresh and neatly placed. The meats are very fresh. Deli is Always super clean and the Bakery goodies are amazing. I refuse to shop at any other grocery store for my food. Their cookies, cakes, Hostess, Entennamins products are NEVER stale and outdated. The dairy section is breathless. I will NOT purchase my food from any other grocery store. Love this place.
