Village Pizza Restaurant

Very happy with our visit. It was Dec 27, most restaurants and coffee shops were closed due to holiday hours but they were open. We did not expect much but the seafood pizza was the best we’ve ever had. Good service and affordable price, given food quality and location. Very nice setting and I really like to map of all the old buildings in Old Wethersfield “Village”.

This is a great place. I traveled with my sister from Massachusetts and the host was super nice. The location is awesome! Very close to high way too. Food quality was great and the owners were so respectful. Galactoburiko was the best dessert. Definitely recommend this place⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

John, Art and staff are always cheerful and happy to serve us. We have been going here for nearly 40 years. The food is always delicious and served on time. The delivery guys are awesome and always polite.

We found this place open on a Sunday morning on our way home from Maine. Great menu made it hard to decide. I had the eggplant grinder with no cheese. He had the chicken cutlet grinder. The server offered extra sauce without me having to ask. The fries were great! Overall, a very pleasant visit.

My family loves the food especially the pizza! I ordered fries for the first time and WOW!!! they were amazing. Crispy on the outside, soft inside with the perfect amount of salt. I ended up bringing two pizzas home with me for my grandchildren for Thanksgiving. They loved it!!! So happy I found this place. Delicious!!!

Some of the best pizza in our area. I typically don’t eat pizza crust but I eat theirs. I also adore their salads and house made rolls, they’re always soooooo good. Tonight we got a pepperoni pizza and some garlic bread for a chill night at home.

I absolutely loved it here. A small, 8 slice pizza was the perfect size at an incredibly affordable price to feed myself and the two others in my group. Outdoor seating was available and the indoor seating was widely spaced out. The lady who served us was phenomenal, very kind, answered our questions about the menu and made helpful suggestions. It was an all around solid experience and I will definitely be visiting again!

A local favorite for my wife. But to be honest, the meatball grinder was really not very good. I requested extra sauce, and there was barely any on the sandwich. Meatballs were pretty tasteless. Pepperoni pizza hardly had any pepperoni on it. Sigh.... Subway does a much better job.

Excellent service! Perfectly baked pie. Our server Josiah was courteous and attentive. Will define be back again!

Been going here since I was a wee little lad and it hasn't changed at all. In the best way possible even with covid they are all friendly helpful and always an amazing time. Food is amazing the little ones loved it. Love being back in the area to enjoy a FAMOUS village pizza with meatballs!
Also best BBQ chicken pizza out of any I have had. Comes with green and red peppers with onions and breaded chicken and bbq sauce.
Go get you some support the local area!!

Excellent service. I love the small-town feel you get. I like places that serve your pizza on the "fancy" stands like this place does. I was surprised they have coffee, and it's pretty decent. My partner asked a question I never saw coming, how much spinach is on the pizza? I highly recommend the spinach pizza!

Great quality and portion size for a good price. I have been coming here for years and my favorite items on the menu are the meatball grinder, chicken piccata, baked ravioli, and many more!

This restaurant is a real sleeper. It is NOT just another pizza parlor. It is a family welcoming place with exceptional Italian specialities including cannelloni. Try it. You will love it.

Outstanding... I drive by this place every weeknight on my way home from work and it's always jammin'. The food is fantastic, the service is excellent, and the meatballs are the size of a new born baby's head. Definitely worth trying.

My son loves the pizza. He is sooo picky, even with cheese pizza. He really likes the chicken Parm pizza. We ate here twice this week. I like the Primavera 🍕 . No red sauce for me! They even make a vegan pizza on the menu. They have a great selection of pizzas!

We happened upon this place by accident, and it was great! Cozy atmosphere, tasty pizza, and great service despite being super busy at dinner time! This place must be a local favorite, with almost every table taken by 6pm!

This is one of my favorite spots you got to support local businesses their food is really good their pizza is amazing friendly staff.

Full disclosure: I've been coming here since I was a little kid, so I might be a little biased, but who isn't? ;) Village is a great little neighborhood restaurant. Excellent pizza in their own unique style, entrees, and desserts. Friendly table and counter service. Easy delivery makes it a go-to choice for our household on those evenings when nobody has time to cook.

TL;DR: I love this place. Highly recommended.
