Went to Jenskates today to get my granddaughter a new pair of figure skates.
This is definitely the place you want to visit for professional advice, proper fitting and top quality skating merchandise at a very fair price !

Fully stocked ice skating store. My husband and I started “learn to skate lesson” and the teacher said not to get hockey skate to learn the basics. She recommended Jackson mystique. Hockey skate is hard learning due to less blade surface. Jen took her time to fit us in the perfect size and sharpened them too. She carried a huge selection for figure skating. Plus all accessories. These were better brand than box store and came in half size. Cost a bit more but I think worth every penny. We did not know skates could be so comfortable. It was by appointment. She also ship overnight.

I tried several places to get fitted and purchase new ice skates. I highly recommend Jen skates! She is knowledgeable, patient and walks you objectively through the alternatives for you to make your selection. She also had many sizes on hand getting me from fitted to out the door with skates in one visit.

Recently I had some issues with my blades being sharpened by another place. I called Jen on a Friday night thinking I would just leave a voicemail and get a call back the next day or Monday. I was surprised and relieved when she answered! And even more relieved when she squeezed me in that Sunday. I was concerned my blades were completely ruined for good but she brought them right back to normal. I skated on them that same day and they felt perfect! I cannot thank her enough. It was also nice to look through the shop--I ended up getting a skirt and tights for a great price, love them both. I was amazed at how much she had in stock. Overall, 10/10, would recommend to anyone. Jen is super knowledgeable, friendly and so accommodating! I wish I had found her sooner!

Jen was fantastic with my daughter (4) and myself. New to the ice skating family, she was able to help my daughter get sized and guided me on what I needed vs what I didn’t need to get started. She was extremely knowledgeable and most of all personable. I plan to purchase exclusively from Jenskates in the future and you should too!

Jennifer the owner is great! She fitted me with the perfect skates for my needs and is really friendly. It's even better that she is by appointment only so you're not waiting around to be fitted or for help. Her prices are reasonable and the same as what you'll find online elsewhere. Jenskates is the place to go for all of your skating needs! Jen was very friendly and knowledgeable. She really took the time to properly fit my skates, heat mold, and had them all sharpened and ready to go for the ice. Excellent customer service. She made it very easy to set up an appointment with her, threw in a free pair of soft guards, and was very personable. I will definitely be back.

Jen was incredibly warm, knowledgeable, and professional. She patiently explained not only product-related information (the different tiers of skates, best options for skaters with wider feet, cost, material, best skates for each level of skater etc.) but also general figure-skating information (experience as an adult skater, learning jumps, etc). Her website is up to date and, with her guidance, I ended up getting the exact pair of skates that I anticipated I would get after doing my own research and seeing her website! Would give 10 stars out of 5 if I could.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! I researched different skate option and almost purchased online, I'm sooooo glad I didn't! Not only was Jenskates an incredible value (skates, personalized fitting, boot heating & molding, blade adjustment and sharpening included in the price of the skates which was the same price as all the other online retailers) Jens knowledge was incredible! I never once felt pressured to buy or spend more than I planned.
Her inventory is unmatched. I tried on several different skate styles and could really find the perfect skate for me. Jen answered all my questions and really helped me find the best skate for my needs.
I never thought I would have a boot molded to my foot but Jen did this for free! She adjusted the blade of my skate to my personal preference and weight distribution. She also sharpened my skates while I was there. That alone saved me a trip to my local sharpener and their fee. OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE and tremendous value. If you're planning to buy skates, it's totally worth heading to this store. Don't buy online, you will lose $ in doing so. I was about to buy these skates on Amazon for the same price plus $20 shipping, no sharpening and definitelyno personalization like boot molding and blade adjustment. Head to Jenskates, seriously! They now have lifelong customers from my family. Thank you Jen! I love my new skates!!!!

Great place to for ice skates. Jen was fantastic. Let us all try on multiple skates, answered so many questions, and was super patient with all of us. Got skates for the family. We are all super happy with the skates!

For the uninitiated, finding the right figure skates is hard. My 14 year old daughter caught the skating bug and was getting by with the rental skates included with her learn to skate program. We found Jen online and she's awesome! She took the time to explain how skates vary and which ones are appropriate for a level 3 beginner. We couldn't have been happier! Thanks Jen!

Jen is the best, she is very knowledgeable about ice skating and associated equipment. She does not try to over sell or up sell items. I really appreciated that, and she is very friendly, easy to talk to person.

I went to Jen to be fitted for a boot I could make into a roller skate — she was kind and attentive and asked lots of questions to get a good understanding of what I needed, and found me the perfect boot. It was my first time being fitted, and she made it an easy, relaxed experience. Thanks!!
