The Council Shop

This store has always got something fun or unique to find, and the layout is really well organised and easy to sort through.

I want to take a moment for the staff - I am within waking distance so I pop in when I can. Every single interaction with the staff over the last year has been above and beyond. I am a talker, so I ask a bunch of questions, and every single person has been kind, courteous, patient and extremely helpful.

I don't know what is in the water in this store but keep drinking it!

Enjoyable shopping experience's, beautiful merchandise & warm, patient & sincere staff assistance! I especially enjoyed the exciting Grand opening at 3757 Overland Ave. Los Angeles Ca. 90034 on 08/04/23! I learned about some the different programs the NCJWLA-Council Shops offer to those in need. I went to the new location on Overland and found 3 very needed items. The store is clean and well organized and the employees are very nice and helpful.

Very good place to go shop for yourself and / or for the others . Nice staff, decent prices, and wide variety of different stuff.

They were very nice and I was awaiting for their grand opening, I bought a big piece of art that wasn't cheap but turned out to be way to large for my space. I asked to return it the next day for credit and was promptly refused. Frustrating. To be fair it was stated no returns or refund on the ticket but would have nice if they would have made a compromise. I will go back and not dwell on it did sour the encounter

Nothing to write home about, it’s not like it was when first opened
The music is so loud you can’t think!!!
Hence the reason I don’t spend any time or much money 🤦‍♀

No dressing room AND all sales final, they told me to try on the jeans over the jeans I was already wearing. Feels like maybe something should change here.

Manager this evening had lacking customer service skills.

I drove there on Saturday at 10:15 a.m.
Every parking space on the street was taken, and the 4 spots in front of the store were already occupied, as well.
Where does one park? There are no signs directing one to additional parking, if it exists.
