Just moved to the area from North Carolina and so happy to have found this place. They did a thorough job making sure my old Subaru was in good shape. Super friendly and professional!

Amazing work! Fixed my Prius at a much cheaper rate than another mechanic had quoted me at. Very knowledgeable mechanics. And great to hear about their environmental/sustainability efforts and their cooperative worker model.

Just moved to town and am so grateful I drove past Pelham Auto. Was under the impression I needed an oil change and a couple fluids flushed and replaced. They checked all my concerns and told me I only needed the oil change and whoever told me about the fluids was likely trying to sell work. Needless to say, I’ll be a loyal customer from here on out. Bonus points for them being kind enough to let me and my dog hang out while we waited. Thanks Pelham Auto!

I’ve never found a mechanic I trust more. They are sooo nice, their rates are reasonable (I never feel upsold), they never make me feel stupid, and they’ve very kindly managed, twice now, to squeeze me in on days when I had last minute car emergencies the morning I needed to leave for a trip. Cars can feel unpredictable but these guys are steady!

This place is truly excellent!!! I’ve been going for decades (yes, really!) and wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. The mechanics know what they’re doing, they’re fair, well-priced, professional, and experienced. There’s a reason they’ve been open for 50 years! Don’t think about going anywhere else – you’ll regret it.

Friendly and professional customer service and quality work at a fair price. It's a worker owned co-op so everyone has a personal stake in the work they do and it shows. I'm not going to take my car anywhere else if I can avoid it going forward. Definitely recommend it to anyone in the area who needs work done on their vehicle.

Wow. Definately recommend coming here. Their prices are lower than a few in the area which was very pleasing. I dropped my car off, not even an hour later they thoroughly looked at it and had it on a lift and gave me a quote. I have basic knowledge of automotive, and they explained what needed to be fixed so i could really understand what was wrong, while staying very personable and made me feel like i could trust them. They finished the job in less than a day. Definately coming back!! Fast, and super friendly!

I don't know why I didn't think to write an online review of Pelham Autos for so long. I guess it shows my age. I have gone to them for car repairs since 1981. Except for stuff they don't do, like body shop work, I haven't been to any other place in the area. The reason is they are competent, courteous, and trustworthy. If it is bad news, which it sometimes is with cars, you can trust them to lay it out for you, with sympathy and understanding, of course. I have heard that they are a tad pricier than some others. For the peace of mind, if you can afford the possibly small extra charge, they are the best. In thirty-five years, I have never once thought, "Gee I wish they had told me more, or that they had done a better job". And the pig motif and cartoons on the bulletin boards always bring a smile to mitigate the hit on the wallet.

I personally didn't get my car repaired here because I decided to part it. But they were very friendly, knowledgeable and all-round great people. My engine seized and I had it towed there and evaluated, they didn't charge me for the evaluation and even let me keep it there for two weeks. Great people. Thanks guys!

This place is a worker-owned collective, and they're straight-shooters, and they know their stuff to boot. If you live in the area, there is no excuse to NOT take your car here. Everybody knows they're the best in the Amherst area.
