Safeway

This is the best grocery store My first experience was ruff but when my food stamps didn't come in when I moved into my apartment and I had to food the security guard stepped up and bought me 40$ worth of food so I could have dinner and even breakfast! The staff are also pretty decent they treat me like I'm a human which is awesome. The prices are a little high but the convenience and staff make it worthwhile.

Everyone calls this one the un-safeway, but I always go here. I mean I get the area probably isn't the best, but it doesn't bother me. They have security at the door and in the store who always greet me everytime I come in and leave. The employees here are also pretty nice and helpful. I'm sure they deal with a lot in this store, as I've seen them catching people stealing all the time, but that's pretty much everywhere. I appreciate the fact we even have a grocery store in our neighborhood we can walk to if we wanted to.

Been coming here all my whole life put the cage up I'm tired of the smelly homeless I'm sorry but I'm paying a bit too much money to watch them steal as I pay. Ban the homeless I guarantee business will be better they only want foil and beer anyway let them steal from the corner store up the street oh wait they are already banned from that store homeless are not allowed in lol do the right thing cause this ain't the Safeway

Excellent service doing a walk-in bivalent COVID-19 booster. Shot was quick and nicely done.
Don’t waste your time reserving online if you’re planning to go same day. I had filled out the online reservation vaccination form just before going. It does not populate on the store computer for 24 hours they said though.
Pharmacy waiting room carpet needs to be replaced.

This was my mom's safeway for years, we lived on 17th&Ainsworth I'd walk there for her to get this or that as a kid. Always has been the best staffed and cleanest safeway in peirce county. Almost mom and pop shop like experience we all love and miss.

I really like this Safeway. Their produce is great, always fresh and delicious. Their Bakery is one of the best in town. I especially like grabbing a Starbucks before I start my shopping. And the staff is pretty friendly, and very helpful if you're in need of help finding out where that one hidden item is. They keep their bathrooms very clean oh, and I don't worry about leaving my car in the parking lot. All in all when I'm in the area this is my go-to store I'd recommend it over any other Safeway at any time. 12/14/2021 had a fantastic experience today, and exactly what I was looking for, was able to help some of my list fortunate community members with some food items. I think the people that give it a bad rap, are the ones that don't shop here.

Regular grocery shopping for the month but I can say it is a bit pricey this month

I live right down the street and I’ve been going to this Safeway for two years, and I have always loved the staff. Recently they hired a new security guard, and he has transformed the quality of experience and he deserves a shout out. I not only feel safer with him, but he is very welcoming to everybody heading in and out and I really appreciate that.

Small store compared to some in town but they're getting more vegan options in stock so that's nice.

Always friendly and Helpful employees. A great selection of food but keep in mind the hilltop Safeway is very small and does not carry as much as the other stores product wise.

Well stocked and in and out with no issues

For this store to have "sketchy" looking customers, I actually like it! Folks outside never bother me. Its small, my items are always in stock, and self check out is never full. In and out in less than 10min! Tip, bring your own bags!

I have been shopping at this Safeway for the last 30 YEARS!😁 And the Workers there are So Friendly they remember you by name! It's nice to shop at a Grocery store that has All of your Necessities as well as a place that you feel at home at during your shopping experience! The Hill top Safeway is a Safe place to shop! love it!😍

The "FWAY" known to locals because of years and years of the sign having burnt out letters. Also has been called the UNsafeway. Altho that dosent realy apply. Ive enjoyed shopping here for many years and love to run into friends from the comunity. Impromptu dance partys in the isles have happened. And the pharmacy has always been the most helpful ive experianced anywhere. Never have i seen an angry or unhappy employee. Smiles all around and help on the level of a personal shopper when needed. i love this store and hope it never changes. Aside from the remodel. That was needed and well done.

Outstanding crew and managers at this Safeway. Not an easy task considering the surrounding area. The store is small but it's well stocked. Produce looks fresh, floors are clean and prices are fair.

I like the way its laid out. Overhead signs makes it easy to find what aisles you need. Wish there were more scooters available for people like myself that needs help getting around a big store

I got my covid vaccination here. Wonderful people. Great experience. And the store is smaller than the usual Safeway stores I go to. But that is actually a plus in my mind. Cozy, easy to shop. I liked this store a lot!

Went to Safeway for a few things but I always end up bringing more than l was going after, but it was nice and clean and they were busy busy busy. They had some good deals on and that's why l went the thing's on sale were thing's l needed and the folk's there are so helpful i give them s 5 star there awesome.

It's close to where I live and it's convenient

Not from the area, but I am looking forward to shopping here every time I'm working in the area. Usually stop by for the great food from your deli Dept that is occasionally half price but always delicious. Staff is always very friendly and helpful!
