The mister and I love this place! Came in on a whim today, they have the best selection of records in any store i’ve been to in the DMV. Amazing indie section with vinyls for bands that are more underrated. I think they also restock frequently! The staff is very sweet and helpful too. 10/10! :-)

This record store exceeded my expectations! With a vast range of HC/Punk, Metal, Hip Hop, and Jazz selections, it's a paradise for music enthusiasts. The friendly and knowledgeable staff made my visit enjoyable.

I’m a huge fan of both Mobius and Crooked Beat Records, the two record stores within an easy drive of my house. On my latest trip I picked up several Christmas albums and some older albums they had in stock as reissues. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, they have a massive selection of punk and metal, which is amazing, and an interesting selection of used and bargain albums. Highly recommend if you’re into vinyl; I will always prefer buying local instead of giving my money to Amazon.

Whoever is running customer service here is right on it! The communication and the way they regard the customer is like the old days when people used to care. (Try Merchbar, it’s like getting in a fist fight!) You guys are AWESOME! Packaging is second to none and I LOVE the sticker. Thanks for the tunes and will definitely use you guys again!

Very much worth the drive. The store has a nice mix of old and new and has a very cool vibe. I live closer to other record shops, but frequently find myself making the extra trip to come here. Prices are good and staff are friendly.

Loved this place, it's located conveniently in the middle of Fairfax city. I suspect that's why their prices are on the higher side. Otherwise great selection of newer albums, although could use more used albums. Very little in that regard.

I enjoyed visiting, the staff was friendly and cool. Nice environment considering the pandemic. They took precautions and the owner seems to take safety seriously! Which is as a customer 100% what you want to see. Will be back!

Any store with a designated reggae section has my heart. Great vibes and an awesome selection!

I don't own a record player. Went in looking for some records for a friend's birthday. I believe the store owner's name is Dempsey. He saw my hesitancy and spent the next 15 minutes helping me find records and making recommendations. He seemed very knowledgeable and friendly. The store was clean and well maintained and had a relaxed vibe. I walked out a happy customer. Definitely recommend this place if you are into vinyl.

Mobius is a great little store! Friendly and knowledgeable staff with a nice selection of used and new records. Everything from hip-hop to metal. The store also sells a great selection of accessories, too. I love how easy it is to place and pickup an order using their website. Stop in sometime, it's a fun spot!

Recently found my old CD player and wanted to purchase some albums to listen to., The staff at Mumbai records was extremely helpful and even recommended me some CDs to check out. I'm now jaming out listening to some RGTM and enjoying it.

Fun record store! Our number two favorite in all of the DMV area, which is saying something given the range and variety we have. They always have a great selection of new records, and their used selection can sometimes bring a gem or two!

Love this place in downtown Fairfax. It's not that big, but I always seem to find a bunch of good stuff there. The staff is super nice and helpful.

Mobius is great! I am always able to find what I'm looking for and usually something I didn't even know I needed. Their staff is super helpful and accommodates my weird requests. I love having such an awesome local store!

I live in Leesburg and consider the drive to Mobius to be well worth it. They always have an excellent selection of new vinyl, even their used vinyl bin is great because it’s clear they only buy and sell quality vinyl.

My favorite record store in Northern Virginia. Great selection of new vinyl, along with a solid rotating used section. The entire staff is super friendly and always willing to answer any questions. This crew makes it a joy to buy local!

My wife and I took a stack of old records to Mobius Records. We dropped off the records and Mobius called us a few days later with an appraisal amount. We found the appraisal reasonable. They made the whole process was real easy. I would recommend them if you want to sell or buy vinyl records.
