Sunny Daze Smokehouse

I ordered take out! Staff was exceptional from ordering to picking up. Everything I ordered was delicious. Shrimp were plump and fried to perfection, house smoked wings were fall off the bone amazing, chicken tenders were huge and juicy. Our appetizers were phenomenal as well. We had onion rings which were great and the sauce was tasty. My favorite was the hushpuppies with sweet tea honey butter. Portions were great! Fries were uniquely cut and wonderful too. Sides of baked beans and Mac n cheese did not disappoint! We will be back. The wings didn't stand a chance for a picture!

We are in from NY to celebrate Memorial Day weekend. We walked in on a whim and it ended up being serendipitously perfect! Our server, Ellie, was attentive and friendly. The restaurant is clean, fun and welcoming. The food was delicious! The menu had something for everyone and even our most decerning family member, our granddaughter, ate everything! We will be back!

Me and my friends had a beautiful experience at Sunny Daze this past weekend. The smoke house burger was phenomenal as well as the mac and cheese. Nia was awesome and made sure we had a great experience.

Great new spot on the beach. Hush puppies, pulled pork, brisket and fries were all delicious. Staff and owner were all friendly and appreciated the business. Hope they have a great first summer season.

If I could give them 10 stars I would!!! The food, drinks, staff and location are all fantastic! Our group had the smokehouse burger, the wings, and the brisket platter. The portions are huge and delicious! You could not get nicer staff and bartenders. And try to sit upstairs so you can take in the ocean and watch boardwalk activities. Highly recommend Sunny Daze Smokehouse!

Sunny Daze is located on the Carolina Beach boardwalk and was a perfect choice for my family of 4 (2 kids). The atmosphere is nice and my husband was happy that they played Sublime 😃The food and drinks were great! Our server Ellie was incredibly sweet and took great care of us! We’ll definitely be back again.

Shout out to our amazing server Ellie for putting up with all of our allergy and intolerance issues. She was so sweet and patient with us. The food was delicious as well, we enjoyed the loaded potato skins as an appetizer and the smoked chicken salad dinner.

We dined here for the first time today during lunch. The food was excellent and service matched the food quality. Angel was wonderful and took good care of us by frequently checking in to make sure we were good. James came by several times too to ensure we were happy with our food and service. Already thinking about what we will try the next time. Highly recommend Sunny Daze Smokehouse.

We ate here this week after a 6 hour car ride with our toddler, completely unsure show she was going to react to us grabbing something out. I spoke with the hostess who was an absolute gem! We were able to grab a table outside. The hostess brought my daughter a large piece of brown packing paper, some crayons and chalk and we were set! Angel was out server and she was top notch! She kept constant check on us and made sure my daughters food was brought out asap so we could get her fed. Tell me you're a mom without telling me you're a mom! We were checked on by management more than once. Definitely the most superior customer service we've had while staying at CB.

WOW! Saw this place opening up and a was super stoked to come try it. Maaaaannnnn listen! Our server, Ellie is meant to be in the service industry. Incredible personality and a friendly smile.
The food was out of this world. I’ve always loved smoked meats. Their brisket and pulled pork is perfect. Do yourself a flavor and get a side of their baked beans. BEST I’ve ever had.

I went to Sunny Daze Smokehouse last Saturday night with some friends of mine and dined here. Everything was amazing!! Our server Ellie B was the BEST server we’ve had in a really long time. You just don’t get intentional service much anymore. Overall, the food was great and made for an incredible experience!

We grabbed dinner here over the weekend and it did not disappoint! The upstairs deck was amazing and we enjoyed the view along with the breeze and didn't have to worry about our kids bothering anybody as the atmosphere was super laid back. We ordered the pork sandwich, the po boy, and the kids burger. All three were excellent--but you HAVE to try the sidewinder fries! 💜 We will definitely be back.

Wow where to begin. The food was outstanding fresh and made in house. My husband got the shrimp and he was blown away. I got the loaded fries and it was amazing. The food is some of the best around. I will be going back!

This was the best place to have dinner with my family. This establishment has always treated my husband and I with up-most kindness.the bartender tonight was a blonde young lady who makes the best drinks, it was nice to see her smiling face this year and past summers. There seemed to be loud, drunk girls yelling obscenities at everyone and body shaming. I liked how the manager quickly resolved the situation and told the obvious young, loud and patheticly looking girls looking for a fight to leave, seeing there was no reasoning with crazy. Keep it up guys! You are why we come in with our families.

We had a great waitress Angle. We sat upstairs at table outside. She spoke to us as soon as we arrived. She was very happy and upbeat. My husband ask if she was owner. She seems to care alot if customers are happy. We had corn hush puppies with honey butter- excellent. Bbq was great. We had a great view of ocean and friendly staff.

The hot chicken tender sandwich is delicious! My husband ordered the fried shrimp po boy and loved it. Bar tender Angel, was amazing and super attentive. Watching the owner James be willing to do any job in the restaurant is refreshing. Great views and yummy cocktails!

Great view first off. Then Angel was very attentive. She was so helpful and always checking we were ok.

Quick happy hour stop for some beers. Great atmosphere, reasonably priced beers and our server Ellie was awesome. Great advice on what to do in the area was a bonus. We’ll be back

Sunny daze smokehouse is a must when in caroĺina Beach. Not only is the food amazing but the staff and managers are so inviting. I ate here with my family tonight and the southern hospitality was surely felt. Cody, the manager on duty was always coming to check in on us to make sure we wanted for nothing. Stacie was our server and she was a pure gem. You could definitely feel the sunshine from sunnydaze. Angel also checked in us :) she made us laugh out loud which was great. I definitely recommend Sunny daze even with bigger parties as the girls know how to handle it.. cleanliness was also a plus especially in the rush.

Could not have been any more enjoyable! Stacey (server) was personable and excellent. Owner checked on us twice, and that means something too! GREAT PIC!!
