Quick service.

When you enter these post offices especially this one. The postal workers have worked for post office so long they do not smile or interact with customer that much. They have absolutely no customer service skills at all. They are older and set in their ways behind the counter. They have been on the mail truck for many years and the USPS put them in retail stores when it is close to retirement and they feel because they have delivered so much mail in all weather conditions as part of their job description when they get into the retail store they are assigned to they do not want to deal with any customers. They want to sit down and ring up customers and retire.. They want to retire you and the post office they work at. They are very stuck up. I feel like it is time for you to retire and stop making us miserable. I do not care for this one. It seems like when I go here the employees are unhappy. I will not say anything else, but we need the United States Postal Service! Thank you for the service that the dedicated hardworkers have done for us all.

I cannot understand why this post office has not reopened. I have to drive to Hookerton to mail bills or get stamps. Why is Kinston such an inconvenient place to live? This post office is a vital service, yet it is taking forever to reopen. There should be more competition for mail services so they can't treat potential customers any old way. All you do is drive, drive, drive to accomplish routine tasks. Typical of Kinston, the height of inconvenience.

Terrible customer service. 2 elderly people work here and always act like they hate their job and anyone who walks in the post office. I have only been here twice and both times had bad interactions with the employees. Not friendly at all. Retire if you hate your job so much

Just got my package sent to me that was supposed to be mailed elsewhere as a Christmas gift. What a waste of 3.75 I spent on this post office. You sure know how to take my money and run and not even attempt to fix it. I was the only customer in your store at the time so I don’t understand how this mistake got through in the first place. Don’t waste your time nor money going to this post office because they will surely get it wrong!!!! Merry Christmas and I pray that you learn how to process packages so no other customer misses their Christmas packages.

Terrible attitudes…always. I know it’s easier said than done, but just go ahead and retire if you are so unhappy. I find myself trying to be overly kind to them, but even that doesn’t help their attitudes. I cannot stand having to go in there.

Apparently this office doesn’t close til 5pm, but they claim that they can’t accept any packages after 4pm... they say there’s a cutoff. Lies. Never heard of that in my life.
