Our server, Casey?, was awesome. She was friendly and a great attitude! We got started with the chicken gumbies. Amazing!
Main course, we chose seafood scampi, chili cheeseburger. Also amazing! Side dishes like fries and such were cooked perfectly. We did not order alcohol. Very reasonable prices for the potions and the quality. We will most definitely return.

This is a great place to go for lunch. So I must say it is a great place to have dinner. And don't forget if you want to watch sports this is the place. And l can't forget the BEST BARTENDERS IN THE BUSINESS.

Wednesday evening I ordered Buffalo Chicken Wrap with Hand cut fries wow all I gotta say their food is so delicious. If you haven’t tried their food yet you definitely should. Staff was friendly, Amazing food, very reasonable prices and I definitely highly recommend this place. #supportsmallbusinesses

Service was great, food was delicious. They messed up our order but gave us a credit to fix it.

Called in my order, I was told 30min... was there in 20min and it was ready!
It was just a smashed Bacon Cheeseburger. But, it was awesome! Can't wait to try out more of the menu!

I’ve eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed. The steak tips are fantastic, truly and the service is quick and attentive. The burgers are great and you get a ton of food for your money. We will now be stopping anytime we’re in the Portsmouth area.

The best bang bang chicken, sandwiches and pizza around! Always great atmosphere and friendly staff. The food recently has definitely taken a huge step up and it was already good before.

It was a fantastic evening. The music was good, the food is ALWAYS good, our server (Jane) was great, and it was a beautiful evening.

First visit to the Shanty and we'll definitely be back. The bartender, who was also our waitress, made us a great margarita exactly how I asked. We ordered the loaded tots and warm pretzels with beer cheese and both were really tasty. Tots weren't heavy or greasy, but crisp to perfection and smothered in cheese. Pretzels were golden brown and perfect when dipped in their beer cheese and hot sauce. Great place to watch a game or bring the family for a great meal.

Pub style, family friendly, seemed like a good bar but we were at a table. Lots of TV's, not too loud. Salads were fresh, food was good!

Food is well priced. Large portions and delicious!

We started visiting the Shanty back in 2020 when they had one of the best outdoor spaces in the area and reggae Sundays every week. Their bang bang chicken might make one of my top five favorite foods of all time. That sauce is unbelievable!

They have some other greats, too. Their onion rings are thin and crispy. They have a good burger. Their Mac and cheese could be good. It’s the right consistency but it’s a little bland flavored.

The staff here is always great, too. Hard workers. Highly recommend

I haven't been disappointed at the items I've ordered here. I have my co workers ordering from here now. The portions are well worth the money! Keep up the superb work guys!

Love everything about this place the wait staff is great, the food is amazing, the atmosphere is perfect for a cozy meal with friends or a rowdy game watching party. My favorites are the deep fried tator tots or the Seafood Alfredo with the creamy Cajun sauce or the firehouse burger.
They make a delicious hot and dirty martini 🍸🍔🍝

Had to go to Portsmouth a couple times in the last couple months for business & stumbled upon this gem. Very good food & atmosphere. And GOLDEN TEE GOLF. Hadn't played it for over 20 years & boy, I was awful. Still, fun little place!
