First Watch

We were seated and served quickly and all of the food was absolutely delicious! My husband usually doesn’t like any restaurant food and he loved it. We live out of town, but hope to return again.

Stopped by, located in a busy plaza, this First Watch location is a bit sparse from the interior decorators standpoint, but more than makes up for it with the food and service quality.

We were welcomed and seated quickly and our waitress was prompt, attentive and familiar with ingredients on the menu. We enjoyed the eggs Benedict and a skillet fry breakfast. Food quality was top notch, right temperature and super tasty.

We will return.

Absolutely love the atmosphere and food. Many options to choose from. It does get a bit packed and usually have to wait for a table but they are quick to get you seated. 10/10 recommend!

The atmosphere was extremely peaceful and calming. I took my little sister while she was visiting Chattanooga for the first time and Jessica was very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be back!

I love first watch! I am a frequent diner of this location and haven’t had a bad meal. The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly, and most importantly the food is seasoned well! My favorite breakfast option is the market skillet hash and the goat cheese is amazing! I can tell they recently changed the recipe and it’s even better than before. The parking gets crazy around 11am and you’ll be lucky if you can get a spot. This place stays busy and the prices are fair for the proportions you receive. If someone asks me where I want to go for breakfast or brunch First watch is my first option.

Beautiful brunch. Excellent food. Having the whole coffee kettle on the table even though I’m the only one to order coffee - YOU GET IT!! I’m coming back for that alone.

Having the waitresses even joking with us and laughing (or Oscar-worthy pretending to) at some Dad jokes…icing on the cake.

I love the "get in line" option on the app. The food is generally top notch. Good service.

If I could make a suggestion it would be to add morning star brand breakfast links or breakfast patty to the menu. It's time.

This time around the potatoes were almost too salty to eat.

I am certain that if Heaven has any restaurants then First Watch has got to be one of them. The service is top notch, our waitress apologized for the 3 minutes we were unattended. She took our order, cracked a few jokes and checked on us multiple times during our 40 minute visit. And this was while they were at max capacity and still had about 10 others waiting to be seated. The food was delicious, all of it, from the fruit to the soup, beverage and entree. My only gripe is there aren't more First Watch restaurants in the city. This is my favorite breakfast spot and I highly recommend going just in case they don't have any in Heaven.

Honestly my favorite breakfast place. Great atmosphere, great fresh food, great service. My absolute favorite meal is the Elevated Egg Sandwich. Only draw back is that between this location and its surrounding businesses, parking is hectic Friday- Sunday. Still worth it though! Parked at IHOP and walked over once haha.

The food was AMAZING. The wait was a little long, but I'd expect that from such a great restaurant. We got the app and made reservations ahead of time, though, so we got in sooner. I ordered two chocolate chip pancakes with bacon, and I'd have to say, it was probably the best bacon I've ever had. It wasn't too crispy or too chewy. Rather, it was just right. The pancakes were amazing as well. Service was great, and there was a very ambient atmosphere in the place. 10/10

Always great food here. We usually go to the once on the northshore. It was very busy, but our food was good and it came to the table in a reasonable time. We got there around lunch time so they were jamming. The shopping center it's in is cute, but there isn't a lot of parking. The decor is modern and clean, and the restaurant is cafe sized. The food is tasty and healthy, like gluten free, cage free, etc. Its breakfast and lunch, leaning more toward breakfast.

We had Jessica today at first watch in hixson. She is wonderful!!! Whole place was a vibe and a fantastic place to share a meal with friends we will definitely make this a more frequent place to eat!

I loved that they have gluten free options, and asked whether my choice was allergy or preference. That makes a huge difference when a restaurant acknowledges the difference. Love their food. First time at this location, just as good as the Gunbarrel & North Shore locations.

One of my favorite breakfast places to go to with my family everything is always so delicious and fresh and the staff are always so sweet can't wait to go back!( I got the farm fresh tacos with the lavender haze juice its soo amazing its like your drinking happiness and my mother got the superfoods power bowl with fresh fruit and not to forget the million dollar bacon side dish so delicious)

I loved it ! Me and my dad tried First Watch for the first time a few days ago and had a great experience. The lady who served us was polite, our food was amazing. I got avocado toast with eggs and my dad got a Turkey Power-wrap. We also tried the chocolate chip pancakes and i know for a fact I will come back to get those pancakes again ! We did go around a busy time but didn’t wait that long and everything was running smoothly ! This is our new favorite treat place and CANT wait to go again !

(May) So we went back again and as always, amazing, we did get the same thing but still great food, service ,etc 😁

First Watch in Hixson is the BEST!! Our server Jessica went beyond the call of duty to keep us happy. She made dining in a great experience.

Solo breakfast at first watch. I love grabbing breakfast at this restaurant. I ordered the trifecta. My selections were scrambled egg whites, bacon, and a multigrain pancake. I don't believe the syrup used on the pancake was maple but it was okay. All three items were cooked to perfection and I really enjoyed my solo breakfast. I ordered an Arnold Palmer to drink and even though my server was not familiar with it at first, he did an awesome job making it up.

First Watch comes to Hixson! Arrived at a busy time but only had a few minutes to wait. Love the Red Medicine juice. I have had Eggs Benedict, classic style, the last few times and it was wonderful. Took only about 5-10 minutes to arrive but cooked perfectly and always seems so fresh. Love the atmosphere as well. A little brighter than the Gunbarrel location but still a good feel to it. Come hungry, relax and enjoy the food.
