The Art Place Studio

We should rent a space because we are here so much! I can’t believe I haven’t done a review yet! Five stars doesn’t cut it. My 2 and 4 year old have created so many beautiful things for our home and office and my four year old has mastered the new mosaics. We feel at home here 💕

My friends and I just did the blown glass Christmas ornament workshop. It was amazing!! We had such a wonderful time!! I was so impressed with everything they had to offer here and we had so much fun. I will definitely be back for more events. Next time I will bring my kids to, they will love this.

I loved my glass blowing class. Vanessa was an excellent teacher and having a small 4 person class lended itself to great conversation. I left with two beautiful bulbs I was able to add immediately to my holiday decor. I will be back for other classes.

We had such a blast at our sip and spin pottery class. The owner/instructor Vanessa was so amazing and accommodating after I made a mistake with my booking. She took the time to make sure everyone was learning and was able to create something. So grateful for the experience and fun memories I got to create with my mom! I’ve also come a few times to paint pottery and it’s always such a fun experience and the staff is always kind and helpful.

What an amazing place! If you have not been there I highly recommend. They have it all, this is the whole package. They offer hand building, the wheel, stained glass, mosaics and I’m sure other things that I missed. There was so much information and so many classes to choose from. I did the pottery wheel and hand building and can’t wait to go back and try it all. The owner Vanessa is so nice and patient and has so much knowledge. It’s a family business and her daughters are so sweet and helpful as well. I urge you to go check it out. I know I will be back!

The owner/class instructor was so personable and attentive. She explained everything thoroughly and was right there with us for assistance, instruction & encouragement throughout. They had so many accessories and pottery examples available to help our creativeness. I will definitely attend another class!

Went here with my three year old and a friend this week. We received a gift card for my daughter’s third birthday! We got there right after it opened around 11:15- we were greeted and was given all the information about the process of how the paint activities work. Spent a few minutes picking out what we were going to paint- they had a great variety of different items- plates, figurines, plant holders, mugs, trays, piggy banks, candle holders, and more!

The four of us (a two year old and three year old included) spent about an hour and a half painting our items. We never felt rushed and were helped out when we needed. The place was clean, organized, and the staff was very friendly! We can’t wait to go back and pick up our painted items after they have gone in the kiln!

What an awesome way to spend a Friday night. My friend and I had a blast both learning the techniques and playing around a bit with them. The instructor was very engaging and gracious. I highly recommend the experience and her studio!

My seven year old son has had the best experiences at Art Place Studio. He looks forward to the holiday gift making camp each year. He has already made me promise to sign him up again next year.

My husband and I went to one of the Sip & Spin classes and had the best time. These events are on the smaller side, allowing us to have the undivided attention of the instructor. It's been since grammar school since I've done pottery, so I was worried I'd do horribly. Thankfully, the instructor was attentive, supportive, and encouraging, helping each of us along the way so we could craft several pieces worth bringing home.

The night was fun and soothing. I loved every minute of it and can't wait to come back with our friends. It's great for a date night, a friends hang, or if you just want to do something different that's creative. Highly recommend!

I can not tell you how many wonderful keepsakes Vanessa has helped me and my kids make. She knows just how to help build on creative strengths and is so encouraging. We love this place!

If I could give The Art Place and Vanessa 100 stars I would. The studio is incredibly warm and welcoming to everyone, a place to escape from the world, relax, and be creative. We started with a wheel class and have continued on month after month - our pottery evenings are some of the most looked forward to few hours of the week. Vanessa is so patient and understanding, even when you feel like you aren't getting it. There's no rushing, no criticism, just support and encouragement. My only complaint is that we didn't discover it sooner!

My group had an awesome time and lots of laughs! We will be back again!!

My son learned so much in just 3 days of clay camp! Vanessa is magic when it comes to teaching art and having fun. We will definitely be back. Fantastic experience!

I walked in and was greeted by the owner. She set up materials for me to make pottery. I made a bonsai pot. She was very nice and very helpful. I highly recommend giving it a try if you love arts and crafts.
