If you've been searching for a contractor to provide asphalt and paving services, you already know the good ones are hard to find. But with Alto Contracting, your search will end. We had a section of an existing deteriorated driveway removed and disposed of . . . and had a brand-new asphalt driveway installed by Rick and his hard-working staff. They did an absolutely fantastic job in just a matter of hours; in the wake of a heavy rainstorm that fell just a few days later, our new driveway did the job and allowed for superior drainage (and a big sigh of relief from both my wife and I). Great quality and value . . . and very professional! What more is there to say?

We reached out to Rick and Alto Contracting for a complete overhaul of our aging driveway. I was impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail. While he gave us two options, we choose the more expensive option that would yield the greatest return for our money. Our driveway is on a slope and our garage floods during heavy rains. Rick addressed the problem and took great care in explaining it to me in terms that made sense. Rick is a perfectionist and an honorable man. He stands behind his work and doesn't take shortcuts. His team shares his professionalism and attention to detail. And he's not 'one and done.' He gave us a detailed pamphlet on how to care for our driveway in the months and years to come.
I've seen signs on neighbor's lawns for other popular driveway contractors and none of them have the 5 star reviews that Rick and Alto have. Alto lives up to every single star. I would give him ten stars if I could.

We hired Alto Contracting to do a complete replacement of our badly degraded blacktop driveway, and we are delighted with the results! They came in with a precise estimate that clearly explained what work was going to be done. Rick was great about informing us when work would begin and what we would need to do to prepare for his crew, and he kept us well informed through every step of the replacement process. After the gravel base layer had been put down, but before the blacktop was laid, a large thunderstorm rolled through, dumping a lot of rain, and washing out some of the gravel from the driveway. We were quite surprised later that Saturday evening to get an e-mail from Rick telling us what had happened and informing us that he would be there with a crew the next morning to fix things up. Our experience has been completely positive: Alto is a professionally run company, and Rick and his team clearly take pride in their work. We look forward to working with them for many years to come.

My experience with Alto was very positive. My retaining wall was on the verge of failing after a horrible series of thunderstorms this summer, and Rick was able to check out the work needed, send a proposal the same day, and get to me within a week to do the work.

The wall looks great now, plus the crew took measures to prevent future recurrences of the issue. I couldn't be happier with the work and the service.

We got the stamped concrete job done by Rick on our patio floor. He was there during all the critical phases of the work -giving directions and being hands on with his team.
Not only they did a fabulous job with removing old patio and pouring new concrete, they were also very good with cleaning up and re-surfacing the lawn after all the work was done.

I would absolutely recommend him and will use him for our future projects!

Our driveway was in disrepair due to age and a poor installation by a different contractor. We reached out to Alto Contracting for replacement and some repair work on a stone retaining wall. Everything about how this job was managed was top-notch from the first call requesting a quote to the completion. All done in the time frame we were told on day 1 and in a totally professional manner. Rick has a good eye for spotting potential problems and correcting them and his crew was expert in creating the expected outcome. Our driveway and wall have never looked this good and after many years, will be draining away from the house. They even swept out our garage after grading the driveway to the garage entrance. Highly recommend and would use again.

Rick and his crew did an excellent job replacing our 35 year old driveway and repairing our front stoop. They were timely and efficient. Their professionalism and integrity were evident throughout the entire process.

The owner Rick was always prompt to reply to any email inquiries, and always arrived when he said he would which is clearly too much to ask from other contractors. Rick and his crew actually made my project happen months ahead of the agreed upon scheduled date which was amazing. As far as the work goes I don't think I could have asked for a better company with quality results. After seeing my new driveway, walkway, and front porch many of my neighbors were calling Alto for price quotes.

I have used Alto on three different occasions for three different projects. Most recently I had a problem with water drainage on my property and Rick came right over. He diagnosed the problem and proposed an effective solution. Within two or three days the work was been completed in a manner that was entirely satisfactory. Not a surprise based on the earlier work Alto done for me.

Excellent Contractor! Rick was very responsive and was prompt to provide a very competitive bid for our driveway (remove and replace about 1000 sf of asphalt). Quality of work was excellent and Rick personally supervised and worked with his crew every step of the way. His crew was very professional and their attention to detail was remarkable. It's not often we find someone like Rick and Alto Contracting that hit all the marks. We'll definitely call him again and recommend him to friends and family..

Can’t say enough good things about Alto! I contacted over six companies to seal our driveway and Alto was priced competitively and very responsive. I ultimately decided to go with them because of all
of their positive reviews and now I find myself writing one too! Rick, The owner was on site for the job even though it wasn’t a large job and made sure they were very careful with our stonework. The job done was top notch and we couldn’t have done it better ourselves. Will use them again for any of our masonry or paving needs!

We just had our driveway redone by Alto Contracting. Rick and his team were great. He was very straightforward with his estimate and walked us through how the work would be done and what our various options were. He and his team showed up on time and worked very hard. The end result is beautiful and we are so happy! We also got some drainage work done and it seems to be working great so far, especially during the recent storm. Have already recommended Alto to a friend in the area.

Rick at Alto was timely and responsive. Of the three to four companies I reached out to for quotes/pricing, he was the only one to respond. He was able to schedule and complete the work that same week and was honest about what could be done vs what could not given how late we were in the season etc. Price was reasonable and they were efficient, professional. I hired Alto Contracting to replace the concrete apron in my driveway and to pour a stamped concrete patio in my yard. Rick and his crew were prompt, completing the project in the agreed upon timeframe.
