Regatta Place

I had my wedding at Regatta Place on 9/28/23. It was the most perfect day at the most perfect venue. Regatta Place is an absolutely gorgeous waterfront setting to have a wedding and the staff go above and beyond to make sure you and your husband or wife to be have the most amazing day. Even throughout the entire planning process the staff was helpful and responsive. Whenever I would have questions or ideas all I would have to do is send a quick email and within a day I would receive a response. I feel as though I had a nearly stress free wedding planning experience and that was largely in part due to all the help and advice I received from the staff at Regatta Place.

As for the actual wedding day my husband and I were assigned a personal severe to attend to our drink and food needs. I found this to be a huge perk. I have heard from so many friends who got married before I did that the bride and groom ever get to eat at their wedding because they are always too busy going around to guests and thanking them for coming. While my husband and I were very busy thanking our guests our server made sure we always had a drink or hors d’oeuvre in hand which was fabulous. Not to mention immediately after the ceremony our personal server was waiting for us at the end of isle with our drink of choice. I don’t remember our personal servers name but she was so sweet and beyond attentive.

Not only were we well cared for as the bride and groom but our guests were well cared for as well. It’s been three months since our wedding and friends and family still tell me how much fun they had and how much they loved Regatta Place.

I highly recommend this venue for brides and grooms to be. If I could go back in time I wouldn’t change a single thing about my wedding. It was perfect. I would like to give a special thanks to Maggie and Kay for making for bringing the vision of my wedding day to life and making everything run so smoothly the day of the wedding.

The best decision we made was choosing Regatta Place as the venue for our wedding. We knew the second we stepped on the dock that the beautiful waterfront property was exactly what we were looking for. The staff in particular (thank you so much Maggie and Kay!) consistently exceeded our expectations. On the day of our wedding, we never felt like just another client. They treated us as if our wedding day was just as important to them, as it was to us. Our wedding guests and vendors all rave about just how perfect the day was. You will not be disappointed if you choose Regatta!

As a wedding photographer, I was floored (in a great way!!) This place was amazing - great staff and great view. The wedding day went seamlessly and I can't talk more highly about it. Just check the photos to see for yourself.

Our wedding was at Regatta and it was fantastic. The staff was great and very attentive. Everything ran very smoothly. We even had a bit of rain mid-reception and the team at Regatta was quick with umbrellas and additional tents to make sure the guests were all covered. The location and views are perfect. In my opinion nothing has a better setting for a wedding than Regatta.

We were married at Regatta Place last month and could not be more pleased with the communication, value and care that their entire staff gave to help us have the best day ever. Maggie, their director of catering supported us every step of the way. We had to have Beer and Bubbles (see pic) as part of our day and Regatta made it happen for us. In total, we had 3 other vendors working with Regatta to support all of the things we wanted to make our day special. We couldn't have been more pleased with everything they helped us with every step of the way. My daughter had her wedding there this past weekend and it was absolutely beautiful! The venue is not only stunning but the staff is exceptional. Jennie was so helpful and did an amazing job. It was a perfect day from start to finish! Thank you for such beautiful memories!

Regatta place and the employees who run it are incredible! From the moment we first went to look at the venue until the final moment of our reception they were so attentive, helpful and flexible. We’re already considering a vow renewal there in the future. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

I was at the Regatta performing duties as a photographer and Master of Ceremonies DJ for a wedding. I cannot say enough about how wonderful the staff was. They were so friendly and so helpful every step of the way. And the ambiance of the venue combined with being on the water and all the views that go with it. It was just spectacular. I would recommend this place strongly as a place to have your wedding. There is a special tent for the ceremony on the dock and then there is another tent for the reception with a bar immediately outside the tent. Just a phenomenal experience from start to finish.

What a great venue for a wedding! So picturesque with the harbor and marina! Everything from parking to the event locations are close and convenient. The wedding "chapel" was well set out and close to the reception area, literally 35 feet away. The reception area was well set out, just steps away from the hospitality area.

My wife and I attended the Skelton/Kelly wedding on June 19. I just wanted to send a message saying how impressed we were with all the hard-working staff that helped everyone enjoy themselves and kept us safe during the torrential thunderstorm that came in during the reception. From keeping the floor as dry as possible and providing umbrellas for folks to get to the restrooms, to the wonderful job serving the guests, the staff really helped make what could've been a disaster, very enjoyable. They REALLY earned their money that night. Thanks very much to all!

The food was too notch, also. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for weddings. You won't be disappointed!!

We had our wedding reception at Regatta and it was just the most special venue. Our wedding guests raved about the atmosphere, the food and the service. The entire team at Regatta, from Susanne on the sales team to Maggie and Cay on the events team, are so attentive, organized and outstanding they put JLo's wedding planner character to shame! I was a pandemic bride, my event postponed from 2020 and I am so thankful I chose Regatta place. They helped me navigate the unimaginable and were so poised and professional. I wouldn't change a single thing about my wedding. Regatta Place was the best

Last week 9-14-18 we had our wedding at Regatta Place, Goat Island and I can't begin to tell you how INCREDIBLE our experience was there. Lauren and Maggie were TOP OF THE LINE SERVICE. Everything from service, ceremony, decor, food...EVERYTHING was so perfect! Our wedding coordinator Maggie and Lauren didn't miss a beat the entire day/night. From first look all the way down to the last dance of the evening, the staff at Regatta were amazing. They truly made our wedding day so PERFECT! Their service was literally something that I've never experienced before. They truly care about making your night so magical. Thank you so much Maggie, Lauren and the entire staff at Regatta Place...you made our night more beautiful and perfect than we could ever imagine!

Our first impression of Regatta Place was at the end of winter, the tent wasn't even up but we still knew it was the perfect wedding venue. Galen showed us around and she was super helpful, as we were just starting to look for a venue. She showed us two locations: Regatta and OceanCliff and was completely upfront regarding packages and pricing and made honest suggestions as to staying within our budget. The tasting was OK. There were a ton of vendors to talk to. Not all food options were available to taste but there was a good variety. The only frustrating part was that there were very few tables to sit down at once you had a selection of food to taste and there were a TON of people there. Communication with the staff was super easy from the time we signed our contract throughout the entire planning and execution stages. Even before our scheduled details meeting, we could email with any stupid question and they would get back to us immediately. Our main contact at Regatta ended up taking a position somewhere else about 5 months before our wedding and her replacement immediately contacted us to introduce herself and was thoroughly familiar with our event details. Our last details meeting was scheduled an hour before the ceremony rehearsal and the staff really helped to calm our nerves. The ceremony rehearsal went smoothly. Sarah and Maggie had already been in contact with all of our vendors, so everything was super coordinated. The day of the wedding, we walked into Regatta and everything was PERFECT. The tables looked amazing. The decorations were amazingly arranged. We couldn't have asked for more. The bridal suite was roomy and the staff kept us stocked with champagne and cheese/crackers. Once the ceremony was set to begin, we were guided through everything. There was a server set specifically for the bride and groom and she didn't miss a beat. Whenever we needed anything, she was right there. Most importantly, our guests loved every last minute at Regatta. It's been 3 weeks now and they can't stop talking to us about the view from the ceremony, the beautiful tent and lights, the giant yachts all around and just the amazing ambiance in general of Regatta. It truly was a perfect wedding, largely due to everyone at Regatta was so helpful, knowledgeable and organized. My husband and I would highly recommend Regatta to anyone looking for a beautiful location in Newport!!

The Regatta Place in Newport, RI is an exquisite venue to host a wedding. We held both our wedding ceremony and reception here and could not be more pleased with the results. Our wedding happened to be on a very hot day and the staff took extra care to make sure that we were comfortable and cool. They even supplied a water station to our guests prior to the ceremony. The staff were attentive, kind, and courteous throughout the day, and even allowed us to arrive early to take photos on location prior to our ceremony. The facilities are beautifully kept and the bridal suite was stocked with water, champagne, and hors d'oeuvres. The chef was receptive to our request for vegetarian options and we received many compliments from guests about the quality of their food. We could not have asked for more from a venue for our big day. Highly recommended!

We just had our beautiful wedding at the Ragatta Place and it was literally a fairytale dream come true. Amanda, Lauren, Maggie and all of their staff were absolutely amazing! Simply the best night ever. The venue, food, and personal attention you receive is beyond expectations. Our daughter’s wedding was…perfect.

Really nice place for a celebration- we were at a family wedding. Beautiful venue right on the water. Staff was polite, efficient and fun.
