Woody's Serious Food

My family loves this place a lotttt, we used to come when i was younger, I think around 1st grade, and I remember coming and always enjoying it! Throughout the years this place is still memorable, and has kors of fun things to do. I don't remember how the food tasted when I was a kid, but I remember liking it. Now as an 18 year old, I still like the environment and all that, its very nice in general. I didn't like the food my family got. I disliked the sauce on the ribs & the chicken, but I think thats my own tastes tbh because all of my family loved it. The corn bread and mac and cheese were my favorite! The corn bread wasn't dry at all! And the mac and cheese was really good!

Seriously GOOD food! Their BBQ is spectacular! The ribs fell off the bone with a breath. They sauced them already, which I normally don't like, but it didn't hide the rib meat flavor. The sauce was good too. The chicken was the same way, but I found myself dredging the meat through the sauce anyway. The pulled pork had a perfect porcine flavor, and no sauce added! Again, you can dip it, but it's amazing on its own too. Great place! I'd definitely go again! (P.S. Don't miss the peach lemonade either!!)

We got a woody’s classic, a pulled pork platter and kids meal. Sides we tried were beans, apples sauce and coleslaw. All the food we had was excellent. The cornbread is like cake. This place has a great vibe. Lots of shaded outdoor eating areas. Some are standing tables and some picnic tables. We would definitely recommend it!

Yummy yummy yummy, one my absolute favourite places of all time for BBQ. We get the Bettye family style option and it never fails to satisfy! If you like a mellow, no fuss vibe this is the place for you. Great service too!

the Carolina Is ridiculous. I had to stop twice just to get more of them. the corn nuggets and yum yum sauce are epic. the kids meal comes with a sand bucket and shovel along with food. the food truck has an awesome vibe and is usually playing some reggae music or other chill beach sounds. plenty of seating, outdoor game etc. I will def return often.

Visited Woody's on a Saturday evening with my family around 630pm. Parking was limited but we managed to find a spot . The business is a small trailer with picnic benches and hammocks shared with the other two businesses. There's a couple of games for the family to play such as corn-hole and ring toss.

I ordered the Woody's signature as well as a few kids meals. The Woody's signature was tasty and had a good contrast of the crunchy slaw and some of the burnt ends of the pulled pork. The BBQ sauce was tasty and sweet with a slight bite. The kids meals were good and had healthier alternatives. I also ordered an Arnold Palmer even though it wasn't on the menu list so kudos to the cool kids that run Woody's for making that accommodation.

Highly recommend Woody's for a chill spot. For the love of all that is holy, people, stop feeding the seagulls. They do unthinkable things while flying around and they are slick enough to snatched food from your hands while your head is turned, don't feed the seagulls. Technically you shouldn't be feeding any wildlife in the area, so stop.

The best take out food next to Maui’s water park near KOA! If you plan to eat before you go to the water park GO HERE OR THE MEXICAN FOOD ITS GOOD AND VERY WELL PRICED!

They also have cornhole to play while you wait for food, cool swings and island style music! Overall 5 stars all the way around!!!!!!

YUM! Melt off the bones slow cooked pork ribs with delicious bbq sauce. Could be a bit warmer when served. The kids chicken nuggets are the best nuggets I’ve ever tasted. Crispy on outside and meaty on the inside and the flavor is really good. The banana pudding is amazing. The beans were good as well. Couldn’t have the fries because they use peanut oil for those. Atmosphere is full of fun vibes and tunes and a friendly chef.

AMAZING food!!! We had the sampler and there was enough food for 4 people! It was so delicious!

This BBQ was f****** AMAZING!!! The atmosphere was great…music, hammocks, bounce house for the kiddies and corn hole for the adults. Pricing was a bit high, but not unreasonable and kids meal comes in a sand bucket w/ shovel which our four year old loved. Service was good. 100% recommend.

North Carolina, Texas, and Memphis quality BBQ on Chincoteague Island VA!! The owner is top shelf and is the on-site smoke master cooking everything by hand! Outside activities to keep the family entertained and make memories while you wait!

Love love love their pork sandwiches. "The Pittsburgh" is my favorite. It has Coleslaw, french fries and a heaping helping of pulled pork. SO GOOD. I've been coming to Chincoteague for 5 yrs now, and I always make sure to stop by and grab a sandwich. I highly recommend if you love BBQ.

There simply aren't enough words in the language to describe what a wonderfully sublime experience it is to eat at Woody's Serious Food. First of all, it is an outdoor operation. Barbecue is prepared in a shack sort of structure where you place your order. You can take it to go, but eat it there! It's a lovely setting with picnic tables, the aroma of meats smoking is wafting through the air and if it's a nice day, life could not get much better. But the barbecue! You might want to make sure that your affairs are in order as you'll think you've died and gone to Heaven!

Great place for BBQ. Portions are generous. If you like a more saucy BBQ, ask for extra sauce.

Had lunch there yesterday was amazing! Hubby had the original and Mac and cheese, I had the Carolina it did not disappoint. Best bbq on the island!!!

A great BBQ food shack near the beach! Plenty of outdoor seating, they even have outdoor games to play while you wait! The pulled pork was really good, as were the fresh cut fries! A great stop when you are wet and sandy from the beach!

Ok so this was a last resort but I was not disappointed wanted seafood but all the places were either booked or just way to overpriced but this place the food was bbq related but so delicious also had stuff to do while u waited a jump house for kids and a corn hole are and more to come to find out I was pleased to find out that the kids meals came with a sandbucket and shovel my kids were very happy and the small fresh cut fries were amazing and very big for a small so happy I can't say enough

Been coming to woodys for probably 15 years now and have never had a bad experience. Great hospitality and vibe mixed showcased by good music and a beach aesthetic. This place never disappoints and I haven’t even gotten to the food yet, all food trucks are great no matter which one you go to and which one you had over the years since they seem to change a lot over the years. Love this spot will always come back.

Fun place - the Carolina BBQ was awesome. Carolina style has been to find for me. Everyone was very friendly and service was very quick! Lots of choices throughout the menu.
