Food and atmosphere was excellent! Staff and bartenders were phenomenal. Don't pay any attention to anyone that gives less than 5 stars...this place is the real deal. One of the best in the island. Very highly recommended. 👍🏼

Outstanding clam chowder, blackened scallops, steamed oysters, and hush-puppies!

The food was tasty and delicious, good-sized portions, and all at a reasonable price. When on Chincoteague Island, be sure to give Steamers Restaurant a try.

Yum! The crab soup is amazing 👏 as was all the seafood we tried. Very friendly service, clean bar, and great drink variety as well. Made the conclusion to our Assateague trip quite exciting!

I have been going here for years and always thought their food was solid, but then for the fish tacos and wings tonight and was blown away. This fish taco was loaded and had the perfect sauce and generous amount of cheese. Honestly surprisingly good

I have eaten here so many times I can’t count them. This is by far the best place to eat on the island for fresh seafood. They have a large selection of seafood and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. It’s got a great atmosphere, lots of TVs to watch whatever is on! The beer selection is very good, and they have great mixed drinks. My wife says they make a great Bloody Mary. I’ve had the fried seafood platter and the shrimp Alfredo there. After eating the Alfredo with the seared shrimp I think I’m sold that their seared seafood is beyond outstanding. There are no words how good that way. Everything is seasoned and cooked to perfection. When there is a wait we have never been more that 20 minutes from walking in to table. Great service!

I love this place! The food is always great and the specials are always creative. The beer selection even if not the largest selection there's a choice for everyone.

The service is top notch even when they're super busy! My beer is always full and we're checked on frequently without being intrusive!

I like the feel of Steamers. It's like a hometown restaurant even for this damn Yankee!

I hope Steamers grows into a landmark and travel destination! They work hard to provide a great dining experience and it shows in every way possible

If I lived on the island, I would be a regular here. I think what stood out the most was the service. We came here twice during our stay and had a very pleasant experience on both occasions. You have to try the Crush drink (pictured). They're delightful. The "whipped" version was my personal favorite. I had the fried shrimp dinner (pictured), and it was wonderful. We sat in the bar area on our visits, but there is a spacious dining area if that's more your speed.

Our waitress was AWESOME. She put my order in for the prime rib right away since they were running low. Prime was cooked perfectly and was delicious and sizable. Fish & chips was a bit dried out

Food is always great, staff is always friendly. We never miss a chance to go there any time we're on the Island.

Had the Delmonico steak and added a crab cake. Wife had the ribeye steak and added scallops. Steaks looked the same but both were nice size and very tasty. I wouldn’t recommend the crab cake. It tasted ok but way to small. The wait staff needs to wait for the complete reply to their questions before running off our waitress did quick fly bys. Nothing negative about this place and worth a visit.

First time experience with the restaurant and we clearly over ordered. LOL The steamed crab and shrimp were great, the crab dip came in a crusty bread bowl, the coconut shrimp came with a yummy dipping sauce, and the sides were delicious. We got this to go during a recent stay on the island. Thanks for the delicious dinner to go! We will be back. 😊

We were in town for a few days on vacation and went back multiple times. The food was excellent, service was friendly, and the crush drinks were delicious (and even better on happy hour!)

Very nice spacious dining room. Started off with the fried pickles appetizer. Very crispy and nice flavorful breading. Main course was Seafood Dream and Fried Shrimp. The shrimp were massive! Side items of green beans and sweet potato fries served were generous portions. Had leftovers for the next day. Stephanie was our waitress and was excellent. She always checked on us, asked if we needed anything and offered drink refills before we even knew we needed one. Will return many more times in the future! This is a must stop on Chincoteague.

My husband and I had dinner here this past weekend. We were greeted promptly and seated immediately. I had the fried oyster dinner that was absolutely delicious. Probably the best oysters I have had on the island. My husband had the seafood platter. All delicious but the scallops were the best. Excellent food and service. Highly recommend!

Staff were very friendly and were calm under pressure, as the place was packed and there was only one waitress. The food was very good; we had the pretzel rolls, oyster basket and fish tacos. Would highly recommend and looking forward to our next visit!!

We went on Wednesday night for 1/2$ appetizers. We ordered nachos boneless mango/habenero chicken bites. That alone was a meal for two. But I had the 7oz burger with fries & a salad. She had fish tacos & fries. The portions were large. The flavor of everything was amazing . Big screen TVs all around on closed caption. Showing: sports, news, game shows, and sitcoms. So you had options. As we are here full time now. Steamer's is our new local favorite. The only thing is you need to arrive early on Wednesday for the special starts at 4:00. And tables will normally fill quickly.

Great place to eat while on the island. Our waitress was the best. Food was great. They were quick also!

Stopped here tonight while on an overnight stay
traveling with our three kids and needed somewhere to get fresh local seafood and wow they did not
disappoint. My wife ordered oysters on the half shell
and they were so good she ordered another round
(she's loves oysters). I ordered the peel and eat shrimp appetizer and the steamed clams and both were well above average. The chicken chunks in the kids meal were real pieces of boneless breast and beaded, no frozen junk. I love orange crushes and they claim to have the best around and they aren't kidding. Not sure I'll be back in this area anytime soon but if I am, there is no doubt I'm coming back here. When an area is known for oysters and fresh seafood, stick to it and you won't be disappointed. If you are looking for a fine dining establishment, this isn't for you. If you are looking for a fun place to kick back, relax, have a few drinks and a good time…this is for you!

The food was phenomenal! Their house salad dressing is delicious. Service depends on the waiter/waitress you get, but that's anywhere right? The inside is nice but we couldn't figure out why it was so dang DARK in there. The lights were very dim and it was hard to see much. Would we go back? 100% yes!
