Fun friendly people and great location on the water. Chincoteague is a nice little town and the campsite is right there. We've camped there many times and we're also regulars at the annual oyster festival held there. That's an event worth attending for sure.

Huge campground. Staff works with you to accommodate and switched our site upon arrival to one next to our relatives. Clean bathhouses. Nice pool although if there is a lifeguard present they are rarely paying attention. Nice dock to fish and crab off of. Some family caught flounder. Kids like the arcade. All around great spot we have been coming to for many years.

Forget the corporate chains. Stay local!! Tent sites are a generous size and well laid out. Women’s bathrooms were immaculate but my husband said the men’s bathrooms were dirty. Lots of showers - also clean.
Pool on the smaller side but clean
Staff is uber friendly. Nicely stocked general store.
This will be our campground for years to come

Great place for the family. Everyone is friendly and willing to help out with getting you settled. The dock is a great place to 🐟. Bath houses and restrooms cleaned several times a day. Water front sites are awesome. First time on a water front site, we have been there for several years but always were away from the water in the trees. No sewer hook up, just power and water. Small trade off for the best views.
We will be back again next year.

Waterfront for 3 days. Wonderful staff and great check-in experience. The island breezes, in October in the 70’s. Aahhh

Loved this place, the mosquitoes were awful but that’s not the fault of the park! Staff was friendly and there’s plenty to do at the park with the arcade, pool and several fishing piers! The only complaint I have is that the 11:00 pm quiet time rule is not enforced at all! Overall a great place to camp!

Didn't get to stay there but its a lovely place! We went to the Seafood Festival and it was awesome! 500 ticket limited! Great band, Front Page News! Classic rock, modern, country! Absolutely fantastic! Wonderful food! Oysters, clams, shrimp, hush puppies, clam chowder hot and fresh! Tysons grilled chicken strips! And much more! Vendors, a door prize which benefits a student grant. T shirts to benefit the saving of historic Bebee ranch of Misty fame! Friendly, family fun!

We have stayed at this camp ground for several years and love it! If you love being by the water with a small town vibe, then this is for you! Fishing & crabbing on-site, you can boat too. Beach isn’t too far away. Not overly touristy. Bath houses are older, but clean. Pool is kept up too. Super friendly folks!

Update June 2022,
Still one of my favorite campgrounds. Security at the gate as well as riding around on a golf cart very friendly people. The staff in the office and the well stocked store are very professional and helpful. The fishing docks are large and well kept. The bathhouses were very clean. I absolutely recommend staying at Tom's Cove campground.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds. Right on the water. You can see the light house from the three Very large fishing crabbing piers and a nice boat ramp. Stocked camping store. This is an older campground so dont expect level concrete pads to setup on. The staff are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I absolutely recommend staying here.

Awsome place! Only stayed a night in my van! office lady from Pennsylvania was very nice and super helpful she definitely makes this place awsome, and whatever you guys are paying her you need to double it!!!! Would recommend this place not to expensive, they allow pets, have water front property, have showers, toilets, dumpsters, swimming pool everything you need, you can fish at the pier. Have boat launch.

Where oh where do I begin? Every year for the passed 10 years I’ve been coming to toms cove. I have a permanent site, I am close with just about all the workers etc. Everyone is so welcoming and kind. The morning greetings you get from your campers next door is pretty awesome too. Gotta love when we all do the holiday parades. The sunrises are beautiful you can see the pony’s most of the time. The bathrooms could be a little bigger but this isn’t a 5 star hotel either. Fishing is great, but make sure you don’t hook a dolphin. You can see a little after sunrise dolphins will swim right in front of the docks. We all like to ride around at night on the golf carts jamming to music. No later then 10, we like to have a fire and just relax after that. 11 is quiet time “Try not to be extremely loud”. I truly love it here and hope to stay around toms cove for a long time!

Tom's Cove Park is an awesome place for family vacation. There's so much to do!! From chillin on the beach to, the Water park, Miniature golf and Much more! The food there is also fantastic.
Friendly, kind peace everywhere!!! Although I only got to see the wild horses for a brief moment, it was a beautiful sight. I truly intend on taking Many more vacations in this truly special part of the East coast soon!! Relax and enjoy, that's what it's all about.

This was our first time here at this campsite, we normally camp in the mountains near the Poconos so this was a different experience. The sites are pretty tight but everyone here is so nice everyone tries to assist you in any which way they can. I don’t have anything negative to say about the campsite. The bathrooms are always clean. The pool needs a little help, as well as the dusty roads.

Been going for about 18 years now three times a year, everyone is very nice and well mannered. The grounds are well maintained and they always have something going on in the clubhouse or the arcade.
Good fishing and crabbing off the pier and just a nice place to hang out and relax. They also have their own boat ramp with trailer parking. We love this place and the people.

I have been coming to Chincoteague since I was a young boy. My grandparents had a permanent campsite in Inlet View which if you have ever been there is less then exciting. Although my grand parents had a great lot right on the water that was well kept considering its surroundings. My family and I have stayed at Maddox, Inlet View, and Tom's Cove. By far Tom's is the best campground on the Island. Compared to Maddox or Inlet View the facilities are well kept. Obviously your not at a Holiday Inn so it's not luxury, but your out there camping. For what it's worth it's nice, I mean your camping you can't expect much. The prices are reasonable and the pool is well kept. The store has everything from food to fishing and camping gear. I am 23 years old and every year is filled with fun. They have boat slips that are in good shape, but when the tides down the boats hit the bottom. They have security which is an old man who has a permanent site there, but if your not too loud past eleven then no need to worry.
Every year I stay at Tom's for two weeks and I never get bored. I never want to leave either. The piers are nice as well. One large pier for fishing and a smaller one that I like to use for crabbing. I love Chincoteague and Tom's Cove is just a compliment of the island.

Always a wonderful stay at Tom’s Cove, love the Chincoteague vibe all over the island. The sites are clean and easy to set up, general store has almost all that you need, the docks and arcade are always a blast. Great prices aswell.
