SYRUP - Algonquin

Fabulous food. Not a long wait time. Our server, Jacqueline M, was very nice and tentative. Coffee/ice tea was refilled quickly. She kept making sure we were good. I so would go back!

I loved this place! We had such a good waitress who filled our water quickly and was very friendly. Menu has so many options to choose from, I didn't know what to pick. We ended up getting the Mediterranean avocado toast and the mini waffle sampler. I also got a latte which hit the spot. This was my first time here and I can't wait to come back to try other menu items. We went at 9 am on Saturday and it was the perfect time. We left by 10 and there were a lot of people waiting. I'd wait to eat here! Everything was delicious, I will be back.

Highly recommend! Fantastic service and accommodations for my son who has autism. The assistant manager who was working at the hostess stand checked on us multiple times to ensure we had everything we needed! Speedy service and high quality food. I highly recommend the arugula salad with burrata and loaded potatoes… kids meals were huge! We will return frequently!

One of the most pleasant experiences I've had in the very long time. I had the chicken and waffles my girlfriend had the breakfast sliders and everything was amazing! The service by David was dead on! Food was quick nice and hot, and then I got the bloody Mary which was amazing. The management came up to our table and asked how we were doing which was another plus. The environment is the flawless and the food was to die for

Great breakfast and fast service. We had a delicious brunch and were seated very quickly. The fried chicken was cooked very well, with very big portion sizes. Our server was great about getting our orders out to us quickly as well.

Birthday breakfast with my mother. The food was delicious. The peach bellini was a little too sweet but the limeade mimosas were perfect the time before. I highly recommend the billion dollar bacon!

I went back to Syrup with my best friend on March 6, 2023. Our server, MARCO delivered EXCELLENT customer service!! The food was delicious and my friend said her first experience was THE BEST!! We definitely will take the drive again!! Syrup IS worth it!!

Delicious food, unique options, and huge portions! We really enjoy going here. The servers can be hit or miss, but the food has always been delicious

We enjoyed and 5 egg ham and cheddar omlete with seasoned potatoes and toast and a flight of waffles. All delicious!

Visiting the area, We discovered Syrup adjacent to our hotel property. Syrup is bright and clean. Friendly staff, great service! Our server, Tansy, gave us fantastic service, her smile never left her face, and she made us feel welcome! The food was delicious and the portions were massive. Home made jellies and syrups perfectly complement fresh well prepared entrees. Be sure to add Syrup to your “go-to” breakfast and lunch list!

The wait time was much longer than stated when we first checked in. Probably another 15 minutes from what was told, but the service made up for it. They took our order right away and even the food came out within 10 min of us placing it. The harvest salad was amazing! The Nashville chicken sandwich was also great.

Syrop never disappoints. I love its modern yet cozy interior and its rich menu with many healthy options. Their mimosas are scrumptious! We traditionally ordered eggs benedict with bacon, the portion is huge and the food is delicious. The power veggie scramble was super fresh. For a dessert, we ordered crepes with lemon moscarpone filling to share. It was fantastic! All in all, Syrop is always full, no matter if you're there on a weekday or on the weekend. Therefore, their food has to be fresh! It's our go-to breakfast restaurant in the Algonquin area :)

Tancy was the best part of our visit! She went above and beyond to help me find vegan options to eat, and had a very bright kind personality. She was on top of every part of service from welcoming us, getting everything out fast, and being sure we had everything we needed. The food was great too!! I built my own skillet with no cheese or eggs and added impossible breakfast sausage for a great vegan option. Thanks Nancy and Syrup for the great breakfast.

The food was absolutely amazing, I strongly recommend the chicken and waffles deluxe. The service was good, the only issue which wasn’t anything crazy was the fact that we constantly had to ask for creamer because the server would only bring a few of them for 6 cups, but other than that they were amazing

This place has great food and service. Beautiful decor. Be advised that this establishment gets REALLY BUSY, I waited almost an hour for a table for 2 on Sunday 11am (but that's my fault, should've gone on a weekday).

Had the pleasure of sitting with Marco today, and had a phenomenal time. I got the legendary breakfast with specialty waffles and wow, all of it really blew me away. I can’t say enough about the service too. He was very attentive with filling my coffee, and made sure to put my food in a box for me and bag it. Would recommend recommend this place for everyone.

Had the Cluck Cluck Skillet, Santa Fe Omelet both with potatoes and an order of Billion Dollar Bacon.. For drinks Vanilla Iced Latte and Mocha/ Carmel Frappe. Food was excellent, service was awesome. Wonderful place for breakfast, definitely be going back.

Such a cute restaurant! Nice clean bathroom. The food was hot and fresh. I had the garden Benedict... amazing! Ill be back in the future.

Fancy breakfast experience yet still affordable.. had the French toast and billion dollar bacon. It was delicious! Super knowledgeable and friendly waitress.

Nice atmosphere. Beautifully decorated. Excellent service. I just mentioned we were celebrating a birthday and a surprise birthday strawberry mini waffle appeared. So kind! Quality food

Syrup is our family's go-to breakfast/brunch joint. It used to be another franchise breakfast place. The renovations made the atmosphere appear more homey and modern rustic. The seating placement flows better. During the pandemic, they built an all-season outdoor seating. It helped accommodate big families like ours. Just like with any other place, the service depends on who you get as a server. One thing is consistent: the food comes out fairly quickly and piping hot.

The food is pricier, but you get more bang for your buck. The portions are huge, so you get to take the rest home for another meal, if you want. The skillets come in a pseudo skillet pan. It adds a nice touch to food presentation. Chicken and waffles are plated with two big pieces of crispy boneless fried chicken sandwiched between two halves of waffles and topped with a scoop of cinnamon butter. The deluxe option comes sprinkled with bacon bits. For bacon and chocolate lovers, you can enjoy them both by getting Chocolate Chip Bacon waffle. Vegetarians have a lot of options to choose from. Their salad portions are hefty as well. For pescatarians, try their smoked salmon bagel. Regular coffee is bottomless, but try their specialty coffees, too. Their pancake syrup is ahhmazing. That's all I'll say. You have to try it for yourself.
