El Fuego Tacos & Burritos

We cater from El Fuego often. Honestly, I highly recommend it for family functions or business events. Every time I call to place my order, they are friendly and helpful. The order is always ready for pick up and hot. An added bonus… my orders are always correct. We generally order the catering tacos, (ground beef, steak and chicken) however I’m sure all options are great. Definitely order their pan of guacamole! You’ll be happy you did! 😀

Love this restaurant 😍. Haven't been here in a while, still just as good as the last time. Very good food and always happy staff. I usually get the Taco trio plate and mix it up today I got Ground Beef and Chorizo. Both were great 👍

We ordered burritos and chicken quesadillas. Everything was fantastic and the portions were very generous. I do wish they offered chicken fajita meat for the burritos, though. Enjoyed and will order again!

I was in the area for my little cousins football game, I had heard good things about the place so I decided to try it. I got a huarache and it did not disappoint. The al pastor and the salsas were hitting. Definitely will stop in again when I'm in the area next!

If you like it authentic... this is the place! The steak tacos (with cilantro & onion of course) were delicious... the rice was ON POINT... the beans were a little salty, but good. I'll be back!

Don't know the atmosphere....but ordered through Uber and man let me tell you food was very good portions where very satisfying....it was worth the money

I love this place, I make some great mexican food, but if too busy, this is always first choice. Their red/ green sauces are fantastic, I put them on burgers with fresh jalapenos.

This place fits perfectly between a full-service sit-down restaurant and a fast food location. The quality of my burrito dinner was great. Well seasoned and good portions were the theme. The staff was super friendly and food came out of the kitchen on plates, well presented, and hot. Even the little hot sauces were tasty. I preferred the salsa verde. It was also nice that they had some of the basic Mexican beers for purchase. I will be going back soon.

Great burritos! The chicken and the steak burritos are great. Guacamole is delicious. Tacos are good also.

Not a day goes by that I don't think about this place. Best Mexican food in the area by far and they even have a rewards program now. I'm sure my friends and I are in the top percent. The people there are so sweet and I look forward to seeing ceecee every time. Happy this place is around :) if you haven't gone, go!

I always get great service whenever I come here. The food is always just as I ordered and super tasty! They also have their own in-house salsas which are really great. Both the red and green are superb! I would definitely recommend stopping here if you haven't yet.

Very yummy vegetarian tacos. I got the vegetarian taco plate it was super filling, it came with black beans and rice. The mild salsa was delicious and everything had a lot of flavor. The portion sizes were great too. They had the absolute best horchata as well. Definitely recommend this place!!

This is some of the most flavorful and on point Chicagoland Mexican food in the area, and I live in Elgin, Il. They are priced reasonably and also offer catering. The staff was very friendly and was able to manage the influx of customers that came in while I was waiting for a to-go order. Someone off the prep area was called over to speak with a customer about catering her NYE party, amidst the rush. I thought it was pretty neat that the front end lead (Jacob) made sure to make the customer feel like their future catering order was valued and important, even though several customers had just walked in.

They were maybe first on the scene with habanero taco sauce in the area, and serve “cantina” style (cilantro and onions only - i.e tacos), which is the authentic way to eat them. Check them out for taco Tuesday, the deal is stellar.

We have gotten food here probably 4-5 times now. We love it!! Such good flavor and always hot and chips and tostadas still crunchy!! Love love thank you!!

The chicken flautas were so good! The rice was even better!
