Bought a Shaker Office Desk and Shaker File Cabinet in natural cherry. They are gorgeous, perfect, just what I wanted. You can’t beat Chilton quality. The delivery crew were awesome. Definitely “white glove.” Everything was delivered well within the estimated build/delivery window. Dream purchase.

We love Chilton Furniture! We have bought some pieces from them over the last several years, and they are absolutely gorgeous. We love the designs and that they are made in the USA with local hardwood when possible. Their local delivery people are also the very best.

The bed we purchased is lovely and sturdy, and would look good in any room of almost any style -- it's a clean, modern frame that would work well with mid-century wood, modernism minimal or a call-back to arts & crafts. Everyone was wonderful in the showroom, and the delivery people were excellent, quick, polite, and treated everything with care. If you've been looking at furniture but finding yourself saying, 'they just don't make em like they used to', you need to check out Chilton, because they *do*.

We recently had a great experience with Chilton purchasing a floor lamp. The sales associate, Eleanor, worked with us over the span of several months, coordinating on availability, options, and pricing. Throughout, everyone we dealt with was accommodating, friendly, and the lamp itself was perfect for us. We'll certainly be back for furniture in the near future!

We purchased a great little side table from Chilton Furniture. It's very well built and we enjoy using it as much as we enjoy admiring the joinery. Chilton always manages to hit this perfect mark between shaker sensibility and modern style. Hope to get some other furniture from here in the future.

I recently purchased the Nautilus chair and ottoman from Chilton. It is so comfortable, and attractive next to the Navarend coffee table. I love the quality and timeless form and function that Chilton Furniture provides. I have the Sunday River bed and the Shaker round dining table as well.
Beyond that, the people who work at Chilton are EXTRAORDINARY. It's impressive that the same people have been there over the many years I've been a fan. I feel comfortable supporting a local business that provides a pleasant work environment for great people.

From start to finish, my experience with the professional staff at Chilton Furniture was absolutely fantastic!

I did not think this level of quality and craftmanship existed anymore. The customer service was excellent. Zac was very knowledgeable and helpful. I bought a table in Portland and picked it up at the big showroom in Scarborough. Lots of pieces there, loved a media stand and ordered it. Real furniture made of real wood - walnut, cherry, maple - by real furnituremakers. Love it!

I visited the Portland showroom on a whim. The staff was informative and helpful. The furniture is beautiful and clearly well made. Chilton's was responsive in order communications and able to accommodate my adjustable Casper bed frame into their Acadia set. Despite the ongoing supply chain crisis, my furniture set was quoted at around 9 months but ready in just under 7. Their delivery team was responsive and able to deliver with reasonable notice. The onsite team was on time, delivered a set in < 20 minutes, and provided basic instructions on future disassembly. The entire experience of doing business with Chilton's was enjoyable and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for high quality, Maine made furniture.

We ordered the Shaker Heirloom Table in Cherry, the matching bench, and four Chilton Spindle chairs in Cherry and Maple. The pieces came sooner than expected, they were delivered by a very professional and courteous company, and they look perfect in our townhome! We couldn’t be happier, and we will definitely be looking at Chilton for our furniture needs in the future.

He is very knowledgeable about the furniture. The delivery was flawless. Bobby and Adam did a great job. They were right on time, friendly and efficient. Very friendly from start to finish! We purchased on line and were pleasantly surprised what happened after order was made. We got immediate replies with great news and information about our purchase. We frankly were expecting long delays and several follow up inquires. Chilton was pro active and very accommodating. We picked up our furniture on Sunday, which was fabulous for our schedule. They help us load and even gave us few local suggestions as we were from out of state. Cheers to great customer service. In a word refreshing!

We bought a cherry dining room table and over time we realized it was sagging in the middle. It was out of warranty but I was told it shouldn’t do that and they would try to figure out what happened. They told me they would pick up the table and replace it with a new table. I am very happy with the new table and with their service. I would order from them again with no hesitation.

The chest is beautifully made! The action on the drawers is very smooth and I’m very pleased. The delivery men showed up promptly within the time window specified and the whole process was very smooth. Chilton pieces and not inexpensive-they’re an investment in a piece that will last and I’m very happy I made it.

I bought two bar stools at Chilton Furniture last week. I had a wonderful shopping experience (even though I showed up at the last minute!) and got exactly what I wanted...high quality, beautiful furniture, perfect in every way. Great customer service, too!

We love these dressers. We got a tall and a wide Penobscot dresser, and they are both beautifully designed and made. The price was also reasonable in relation to the very high quality of the workmanship. The delivery experience was flawless. And most impressive was the customer care after we received delivery. A knob proved to be loose, and they had a replacement delivered to us within a couple days of our inquiry. We highly recommend these dressers.
