Sabieng had delicious Thai food with great servings and service - we tried four different Thai curries and each was prepared fresh and tasted like homemade food. A lot of great vegetarian options as well. Highly recommend trying this place if you’re in Portland !

Ordered Chicken Pad Thai and it was absolutely amazing! The woman behind the counter was super pleasant to talk to while waiting for the food. Highly recommend this place!

We stopped in for a dinner on a slow, day after Christmas poking around Freeport and then Portland. We ordered crab rangoon and a curry puff appetizer, which were great and came quickly. The family thought the rangoons were exceptional. The curries we got were good and the sesame chicken was in an excellent peanut sauce (spicy level 2), They have excellent water and the Thai hot tea was really good, almost has a cream soda vibe and good on a winter night. Highly recommended eatery!

I fell in love with Sabieng when I first ate here 7+ years ago. The food is delicious and served quickly by knowledgeable and kind staff. I highly recommend the noodle dishes, the Drunken Noodles or Pad Se-Ewe with Tofu are my personal favorites, and the Mango curry is also well worth a try!

The food was amazing. Lots of great options. We had tomkhagai soup, thai orange (tofu instead of chicken) and crispy pad thai with tofu. Would highly recommend!

Try the iced Thai tea! SO GOOD! Great service, fresh food. Definitely recommend.

It was freezing and our preferred restaurant was takeout only. Glad we went in. So much flavor! Unusually, my husband and I cleaned our plates.

They had great service and the food was awesome! Had crab Rangoon, veggie fried rice and shrimp wok fried. Excellent!!!

Unassuming little spot in downtown Portland, the spring rolls and fried rice with chicken were so good! Order was ready quickly, I only wish I lived in the area so I could frequent this spot more often.

Quiet restaurant, affordable & delicious food, and plenty of plants for nice decorations. Highly recommend the pad-Thai!

If your looking for amazing authentic Thai food, this place is amazing. I highly recommend the curry puffs for an appetizer. I feel the quality in the staff is excellent and the service awesome. Such a great place to have lunch. Enjoy!! ;)

Ordered drunken noodles with tofu. The person who took my order was cognizant that i might not want eggs since I chose tofu and asked about removing the egg. Good vegan options

I ordered the Pad Woon Sen noodles with tofu and I wanted them spicy. The lady asked me 1 to 4 how spicy and I said 4. They were soooooooo delicious and finally a place that knows the limits of spicy. They were still eatable but just enough to get your juices going. This is a very good place. I would highly recommend!!! And just to mention - I was here just for the weekend from Long Island, NY. I would visit again when I come back. THANK YOU for the good spicy food!!!

Best Thai I’ve had in Portland so far! We got Pad See Ew and yellow curry. The curry was thin but very flavorful. The pad see ew had just a touch of heat to it which I’ve never experienced before but it was quite good! Didn’t feel to weighed down after eating the food either. Will definitely be going back. We got takeout and the estimated delivery time was 60 minutes but it only took half that.

My Mom and I go here for lunch whenever we are in Portland. If you want authentic and delicious Thai food a Mom & Pop (hole in the wall) is always the way to go. Sabieng is just that. Fresh ingredients made with care to order. The scallion pancakes are to die for!

Every dish we ordered here was bursting with flavors - crab Rangoon, pineapple fried rice, nam prik stir fried and the mango sticky rice dessert. Easily one of my best thai eats across multiple states in the US. Highly recommend Sabieng. The owner was very sweet and service was quick. 5 stars!!

Best thai food I have eaten. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. I highly recommend this restaurant.
