Buoy Creative

I am one of the co-founders of Mental Makeover, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in Salem, Massachusetts. We have been working with buoy for just about a year.

We were a part of Buoy's first ever 'float project' where they donate their services (photography and videography) to charity organizations. They helped us photograph and video some of the educational tools we are working on and they were absolutely incredible! Not only did they capture exactly what we were looking for, it was clear that they took their work seriously and only wanted to produce the highest quality of work.

In addition, they also helped us capture our first ever event; "The World Needs You Here" walk that occurred on July 31st, 2022. Twitch captured absolutely everything we could have wanted in photos including our walk participants, the finish line, the speakers and the general atmosphere at the common. He was able to show us all the photos within a week of the event and we could not be happier with the quality of work. We have already put the photos on our website and social media pages and everyone has loved them!

They also helped us with a video for the event. Along with photography, Twitch was videoing everything he could as a one man team! He was able to interview a few of our participants and two people on our team. He asked great questions to the interviewees and and captured some of the most powerful moments of the event.

Finally, they are great people. Twitch was warm, positive, communicative and incredibly easy to talk to and work with! He answered all of our questions in a timely manner and clearly put a lot of time into planning for the event. I highly recommend using Twitch and the Buoy team for any of your videography or photography needs! They do incredible work and we are looking forward to working with them again in the future.

We hired Buoy Creative to create images for our restaurant. They were able to quickly set up a day and within just a short period of time we have amazing imagery of our restaurant and plated food items. Small businesses don’t have a lot of time to manage companies they are contracting with. With Buoy a few simple e-mails, a few hours and within a few days we had amazing images that we can now utilize on our social media and website. The quality of the images is amazing. They were prompt, professional and easy to communicate with.

Steven and Ri recently took updated photos for the country club I work for. They were both incredibly flexible around some unlucky weather spells and were able to capture great images we needed and then some! Will absolutely be working with them again in the future.

I found Buoy Creative via a former intern. I reached out to them because I saw they were starting a new creative agency and I was looking for help with a few creative projects. I met with Ri and Stephen and they really listened to me, learning about my business and the scope of the projects I wanted to work on. We left the first call with plans to meet again the following week to discuss some potential options. I was super impressed with their ideas and it fit within my timeline and budget. As a newer agency I wasn't quite sure if they'd be able to back up the great ideas they discussed, but they knocked it out of the park. They were always on time with the deliverables, adjusted with me as my scope slightly shifted, and I really felt like they were an extension of my team. The end results, 3 SOWs completed better than I imagined, and a lot of extra material that I'll use in future creative campaigns.
