Waterbean Coffee

Finally made it to Waterbean and glad I did. It's a quaint coffee shop that is stylish, vibrant and chill.
Great open airy and naturally bright dining area that can accommodate variety of party sizes.
Very helpful staff who are kind and serviceable.
Really like the variety of drinks offered fun coffee to tea, and smoothies to pour overs.
Waterbean also has a delightful food menu with many freshly made items.

This was the first “local” coffee spot we discovered after moving from Florida, and we still have yet to have a bad experience! They have a large selection and this location is usually pretty quiet for those mornings where you are barely moving. The staff are always super friendly and are very creative with some of the awesome drinks they have come up with.

Such a cute and cozy little space to enjoy a coffee! Lots of seating and little nooks inside to spend time working/studying. Also, a great space to bring a friend to catch up with!

Good stuff all around. Just moved to the area, and this shop will definitely be on the coffee shop rotation. Mocha was in point, and I decided to give the morning breakfast sandwich a try. Solid.

I really really loved this place! Much better than the one downtown!

4/30/23: Today I went with a friend of mine to sit in on her tutoring session at Waterbean Coffee, I tried what’s called the Paradise Iced Latte (this latte has Ube Coldfoam, lavender and brown sugar), my friend got the Vietnamese Coffee (iced). The latte was very tasty and the staff were friendly and able to answer my questions since it was my first visit to Waterbean. My friend also said her coffee was reliable and delicately sweet with the condensed milk. They also have a small display on the windowsill by the ordering area that displays small business products which makes me happy to see small business/small chains support other small businesses. I can’t wait to come back and try other drinks in the future 😁

The atmosphere is so chic, quaint and bright. Could hang out in here for hours! Got the paradise iced latte! It was delicious, staff was super friendly, and service was fast!! Will be back and reccommend to everyone!!

Perfect spot to meet up with a friend for a chat over coffee or tea. Paradise Latte made with lavender & macadamia nut milk was outrageously delicious. Rice krispie treat big enough to share.

Cutest new coffee shop in town. Macaroons highly recommended! I hope hickory gets some more spots like these! Also friendly staff! Will be back!

Great coffee and hot chocolate. Delicious banana bread also! Good atmosphere and nice staff, easy wifi access and password available.

Fantastic latte, friendly baristas, and awesome atmosphere, I didn't try the food yet, but the menu is enticing.. stop by I don't think you'll leave disappointed!

I love this coffee shop! Employees are always so nice. Coffee is great! I’d chose this place over Starbucks any day. You won’t be disappointed the atmosphere is perfect, always makes my day just a little bit better!!

What great local spot - I had visited 4 coffee shops in Hickory and this is by far the best! Service was so good and my oat milk latte was amazingly smooth and just perfect! My husband got a blueberry muffin that was light and fluffy…we realized after we ordered they had a full menu but what we did try was yummy!
