This place is Wicked good! I had the mimosa flight and the cordon blue Benny, wow! That chicken is delicious! My husband ate the straight up Benny and loved it, and my brother in law chowed down on this donut breakfast sandwich that had the most delicious strawberry habanero jam! 😍100/10

Great place with tasty dishes. The huevos rancheros were dynamite. Nice location and parking all around. Decorated like a diner from the 60s with a modern twist. Service was quick and courteous. Really cool brunch vibes on a Sunday.

I loved everything about this place. The huge menu, the mimosa flight, the whole vibe of the place ! I got the drop it like its tots and a Chai drink ! Our server was great, and we will definitely be back anytime we visit!

A MUST STOP IN PORTLAND!

The place is cute and vibrant. They offer wide variety of breakfast and I loveeee breakfast all day. Their jumbo cheesy tater tots is simply the best potatoes I ever put in my mouth. Fair price with super fast wifi. And just super good hearty food that will feed not only your stomach but also your soul.

The wait wasn’t too bad, about 45 mins on a Monday morning. The drinks and sampler appetizer are a must. We ordered the chicken cordon blue Benny and the schlarmagedon omelet. It’s a lot of food so I was only able to finish half of my Benedict’s. The mimosa flight was delicious and they have a decent coffee menu. Good service and awesome decor. It can be a little loud with the music for anyone sensitive to that.

Walked into this wonderful establishment and was amazed on the detail. Friendly’s Toast is a very creative and colorful establishment. My experience was full of fantastic creative drinks, wonderful customer service and amazing food. 10/10. The owners should be proud and I hope this business continues to be successful.

My girlfriend and I had stopped by for a late brunch on 03/14 to kick off celebrating her 21st birthday. We had Sam as our waitress and we couldn’t have been more taken care of or welcomed to Portland. Sam was radiating such amazing energy, had a smile on her face from ear to ear and truly provided some of the best service we have ever encountered. Coming from two individuals that both work in the hospitality/service industry we wanted to show our most sincere gratitude towards her for everything today. Her attentiveness was beyond appreciated. We had also met Jessica who between visits from Sam was making our experience an absolute A+. The entire staff is very friendly. We will absolutely be coming back the next time we are in Portland because of those two ladies. We highly recommend for people to give a try while visiting, and even the locals who may not have stopped by to try them out just yet!

Great vibe in an unassuming area. Stayed at the AC Marriott and walked over. The menu has incredible choices and something for everyone. The food is delicious and we loved the funky booths and art work all around the place. Worth a stop if you want a filling breakfast to start your day!

This place is amazing!!!!! So good we went back again the next morning. The staff, the atmosphere and the food was incredible. I highly recommend this place if you want a great meal. Get the Bloody Mary!

Sunday brunch can be a gamble with how popular the time is, but Friendly Toast was fantastic all around! We had a party of 6, and I was able to get on a waitlist super easily ahead of time to be able to eat when we wanted to. The service was phenomenal, and the food was even better! I had the chicken cordon bleu Benedict and it was absolutely delightful. The churro bites were also delicious (didn’t get a picture because we ate them so quickly). We can’t wait to come back and try more of the dishes and drinks!

Fun spot for breakfast in downtown Portland. Located in the Old Port. Was able to easily find a parking spot on the street right next to the restaurant and was seated immediately at around 9:00 a.m. on a Tuesday in late June. My daughter had pancakes themed for pride month with some of the proceeds going to support GLAD. I had chicken and waffles. Both were excellent, as was the atmosphere and service.

First time going and was not disappointed in the least! The wait-list of people ahead of us made sense once we finally got in and were able to take in the atmosphere of the restaurant. Very vibrant and fun, not to mention the music was great (lots of ABBA!); the interior made me think of a roller rink or some kind of arcade which was so cute and fun.
Then, the food--we got breakfast food and it was so good. When they brought out the appetizer, the egg rolls, we were shocked at how delicious they were. It got us really excited for the main course, and obviously that was amazing as well.
The pricing is not going to be for everyone, but the food quality was well worth what we paid, in my opinion! A must-visit place in Portland!

Soooo good. The hash quiche was one of the best breakfast items I’ve had in a long time. Cookie Monster pancakes were also very good. Awesome mimosa flight- the tropical was the fave.

Brandon was our server. Extremely attentive, great suggestions. Fantastic meal. Think I now prefer the Portland Location over the Portsmouth NH venue. Cheddar Jalepeno Bread, if they have take a loaf to go!!

We visited this gem on vacation. Walking in the door, the vibe is quirky and fun. The food is excellent, and service incredibly attentive. Would strongly recommend!

Amazeballs! Truly loved the vibe, the service and the food was very good. As a vegan, I appreciated having several tasty options. We went back for seconds!
