Finding a good ramen spot in a city with limited Asian cuisine options can be a challenge, but Nom Nom Noodle exceeds all expectations. Despite the absence of Asian staff, they manage to deliver authentically delicious dishes that would impress even the most discerning ramen aficionados. I had the pleasure of trying their birria ramen along with grilled potstickers, and both dishes were standout choices. The noodles were made and cooked to perfection, offering just the right texture, and the potstickers were delightfully crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside.

Being from Houston, a city known for its plethora of ramen and birria joints, I did not set my expectations too high. Yet, Nom Nom Noodle pleasantly surprised me. Their food quality and flavors are on par with some of the best I have experienced back home.

The location of Nom Nom Noodle is as unique as its food. Situated alongside a Veterans For War facility, the place is both interesting and immaculate. The cafeteria-style service is efficient and does not detract from the dining experience at all, allowing the focus to remain squarely on their exceptional food.

If you are in the area and craving some top-notch ramen, I highly recommend visiting Nom Nom Noodle. It is a gem that proves great food can come from the most unexpected places.

I've traveled Asia extensively and Nom Nom Noodle's dishes rival the best of the best. The food is outstanding. Fresh and delicious. Plus it's fun to dine in the VFW with easy parking and lots of tables. Order at the window and it's a very short wait before they bring you your food.

I did not want ramen but this is where I was brought. I was not excited about it at all. My whole mood changed. I ordered the birria ramen… it was so flavorful and filling. I ate so much more than I could handle and became uncomfortable. It was worth it! I would do it again. The ingredients were fresh and even the taquito on top was crispy!

I had waited too long to come here! This was fantastic. The crab Rangoon were really well seasoned and super crispy. The bread on the banh mi was made from scratch. The general tsos rice bowl was really flavorful. Will be returning!

I have never been here before but was in desperate need of noodles today. I gave them a try and was blown away.

They were really friendly, gave me recommendations based on what I was in the mood for. They were excited to have me as a first time customer and told me their broth is made fresh.

Now the food portion of the review. Absolutely incredible. I don't give false praise for niceness. I'm a big foodie and cook a lot of my own Asian food at home so I appreciate quality.

Everything was amazing. The vegetables, noodles and broth were wonderful. My favorite has to be the par boiled eggs in the Ramen though. There are so many dishes that looked good and I now have to try. They hoped I would come back and I will be. I'm also telling all my friends and co workers what amazing food they have because such good food and service such as they have should be celebrated and shared.

So thank you Nom Nom you have a customer who will absolutely be coming back!

The food here is great. My wife and I have eaten a few different bowls from here and some of the appetizers are everything is great. I have confidence that they could springboard into a full standalone restaurant just like the previous tenant.

Vegetable and chicken bowls and pork potstickers were all so good. Service was fast and great. Atmosphere laid back and welcoming.

Both times we’ve eaten here have been amazing! Went for lunch today and we were planning on getting ramen, but the specials caught our eyes! Ended up with the Cajun catfish banh mi, chicken bite rice bowl (with another side of Korean chicken bites), and pork potstickers. Everything was delicious!!! One of those meals that you can’t help but smile about because it’s so dang good! I was pleasantly surprised by the catfish, it had great flavor and was perfectly crispy. We’ll be back soon!

Location feels out of place but the VFW also feels like home. Food is incredible! We had one meal that was crazy hot because that's what I wanted and the other meal was all flavor (no heat) because that's what it should be. Miso is more bold than typical

Must be a slow day. Came in for lunch. It was my first visit. Did the pork belly Ramen with extra egg and extra noodles,spicy. More pork belly than expected. The broth was full flavor and rich. Highly recommend this place.

As a preface, I lived abroad for several years and ate some of the best ramen. Dining at NomNom was so nostalgic. The layers of flavors in my veggie noodles with tofu… wow! The eggs were so delicate and full of flavor. Medium heat was just the right amount of heat but not too much to overpower the flavors. It was a treat from the first bite to the last. We also tried the cucumber slaw which was incredible, crisp and refreshing. I can’t wait to go back!

Lovely new addition to our town. We badly needed a good ramen joint. Flavorful bowls and plenty of options plus great sides as well. Full spice is spicy enough for most ramen lovers, but the dragon spice really elevates the bowl — likely too spicy for most but I loved it. The cucumber slaw was good. Can't wait to try more of the bowls and sides next time.

This is one of my usual, at least weekly, spots for a good meal. You literally cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The food is delicious and inventive and the staff is some of the friendliest in town. I can't say enough good things. And when they come up with specials, it's definitely a can't miss situation. This week's special was the apple rangoon (pictured), absolutely to die for!

Do yourself a favor: don't finish reading this or other reviews - just go to Nom Nom Noodle now. Seriously, it's that good. It's everything I've ever wanted out of a ramen restaurant. I got their chicken ramen and it was INCREDIBLE, even as takeout. The chicken was supremely juicy and tender and the rest of the ramen was just as good. The potstickers were also good, but the star of the show was the ramen. Just to die for. I'll be a frequent customer.

Worth the search! Yes it IS inside the VFW! We had pork belly (we like spice to 1/2 spice was the minimum level we will get next time), pot stickers and cucumber slaw. We love ramen so much at our house we’ve learned to cook our own recipes but this is better! My kid calls it a beginner friendly ramen place.

My daughter and I love the ramen. This is her favorite place to go for lunch or early dinner when she gets out of school early. She begs for Nomnom. She get the mild chicken ramen and I get the medium burrito ramen and they are both delicious!! Def recommend!

Amazing Ramen with lots of vegetarian options. Perfect umami flavor with the mushrooms and broth. The kimchee is a must-try! Grab a beer from the bar and you have a perfect lunch!

I had the birria ramen and the pork belly sticky bun. Both food items were tasty and delicious. I will definitely go back to Nom Nom Noodle whenever I go back to Bloomington.

Was looking for a good noodle place in town and this did not disappoint. Super tender meat and tasty marinated egg. Serving was more than enough.

My dumb husband didn't want to go because he thought they only had noodles. He was wrong and literally ate his words! 😜 This General Tso Chicken Banh Mi was freaking delicious!! Love this place so much 🍜 You should go and take your dumb husband too!
